Easy, sleek, fun
The media could not be loaded. It’s great! I read a lot of reviews and I was a little nervous, but it’s actually great all around. Husband said it was so easy to assemble. It’s so easy to lift the seats and when we are done, I just close them up in 2 seconds. The crack between the seats is so you don’t pinch your fingers closing it. It’s supposed to be like that. Our toddler loves it and it’s nice to know we don’t have to worry about it being the neighborhood litter box! It’s hallow at the bottom and it comes with a cloth to act as the bottom. That is best so the wood doesn’t rot. The only thing I’d say is it’d be nice if the wood was a bit thicker. My husband and I definitely couldn’t sit on one bench together, we’d likely break it. I sit on the bench and play with our toddler.

Sandbox item; perfect for the grandson!
Easy assembly, fun project. Easy to follow instructions, quality materials. Only needed a drill; they provided everything else. Put in two 50# bags of sand. Could use two more (another day). Very pleased!

the quality is laughable, not rip your hair out.
It's cedar. so the boards aren't the highest quality, but it's not horrible. The predrilled holes and the hardware though are laughable, you're better off using your own stuff. You're basically paying for the design. It will be fine for a couple seasons (hopefully) but it's definitely not up to the standards that your average american product would be. It is a shining example of what to expect when purchasing from china, which is why it's funny. Is it useable? yes. Does it serve its function? yes. The pre drilled holes are sometimes too big for the screws or off place. the pieces that are already put together it looks like they did it blind folded. But the alternatives are more complicated designs that will likely fall apart faster. this is simple, so there's less room things to break. If you're looking for wooden sandboxes on amazon, just find the cheapest and simplest one as the quality of all will no doubt be shoddy

Easy, clean looking, and light
Honestly, not bad! It was pretty easy to put together. I was able to assemble it in my living room. Directions need a few notes to be more clear, but I was able to work through it with the pictures. Light enough to pick up and move outside. It's great for my 3 year old.

A great sandbox!
The media could not be loaded. The quality of this sandbox is superb! Its design is such that when you open it up, there is a bench on either side. The little benches can hold up to three toddlers on each side, which is wonderful when my grandson has visitors. It’s easily opened for playtime. I love the design! When I purchased the sandbox for my grandson, I also purchased a cover to protect it from the elements in Florida. The sandbox looks like it did when we bought it.It holds quite a bit of sand, but I generally only put 4 bags in it at a time. To further protect the sandbox from the elements we put a thick piece of plywood underneath it before setting it up. There is a very sturdy tarp like fabric that you line the box with before you put the sand in which is another wonderful feature.

Handle with kid gloves
So this set was very easy to assemble, but it certainly has some flaws. We put the box in a mulched area, so the fact it doesn't have a bottom didn't bother us.Pros - Sucker for the smell of cedar, love it. Easy to assemble. Sharp looking in the yard. Comes with weed blocker. Integrated cover that converts to seating is awesome and the reason we bought it in the 1st place.Cons - The screws that hold the lid closed are short due to the thickness of the board. If you have a nutty 9 year old nephew like I do, make sure you open the lid and not him. If you open too fast or quickly, you will rip the hinges out. The box does not have a bottom as I mentioned above. It does come with weed blocker, but I wish it was a couple inches bigger so I could go higher up the inside so I could add more staples to hold in place.

Fantastic Sandbox
I recently bought a children's closable sand box, and it has been a fantastic addition to our backyard! One of the best features is that it keeps cats and chickens out of the sand, ensuring a cleaner and safer play environment for my kids. The design is practical, as the closable doors help maintain sand cleanliness and prevent debris from getting in. Plus, the doors double as seats, providing extra seating for playtime.Overall, this sand box is not only functional but also enhances outdoor play. I highly recommend it for any family looking for a safe and enjoyable sand play solution!

Great little sandbox that can handle three toddlers.
It does the job its meant to do, but don't expect it to last for generations. Easy to assemble. For the customers who are complaining about fit and gaps, I figured out they assembled it wrong. Follow the directions and you'll be fine. Folding lid keeps cats and critters out but is light enough my two year olds can easily open it them selves. Its perfect depth for about 200 lbs of sand and still allows easy in-and-out of kids.My only complaints are material quality. The lumber is not the highest grade but so far its held upto the abuse of my three kids just fine. YES it will split during assembly if you over tighten the screws. Just be cautious when putting it together and you'll be fine. Also, put some time into making ground level. Any wrap in ground will cause distortion of box's square and put too much stress on joints. So far the only thing to break are the hinges of the lids. I knew this would be the first to go. They are cheap. I bought some higher grade ones from big box store for a couple bucks and problem solved.
