This little trashcan is perfect for our bathroom. Its small and easy to fit in the little space between the toilet and cabinet so it can be tucked out of the way. I've been wanting to get a step can for the bathroom so we dont have to touch the lid all the time with bathroom waste. I looooove that this one has a soft close! It doesnt quickly slam shut all the time. They even include a little trial pack of their perfectly fit liner and when you register online they give you a $5 discount to buy more. I will say, the liners are quite pricey. But I tried small size trash bags and they were too big, got caught in the lid and didn't stay up. So I would recommend using theirs. They fit perfectly, don't fall and leave very little extra trash bag hanging out over the side of the can. For it's small size, it really can hold alot. My husband cuts his own hair and didn't fill this trash can full with a cut. I'm very happy about that. Who wants to stop cutting your hair halfway to change a full trash bag? The dark bronze matches our brown/tan bathroom so nicely. The color was accurate in thr photo. And it was packed so carefully and smart that it arrived without a dent or scratch in it. Ive seen other similar trash cans from other brands with numerous reviews about receiving dented or scratched up cans. But not this one. It was double boxed, cushioned and had a protective cloth wrap over the metal can. It arrived perfect and quick next day shipping with Prime!

I was a bit skeptical buying this because there were some negative reviews about the lid being loud and arriving with dents. However, mine came completely brand new with no dents or scratches. I got the bronze color, 6 liter size and it’s perfect for my bathroom. The color is attractive and matches my other bronze accessories perfectly. I also think it being darker will make it look and stay cleaner then the stainless steal. It comes with three liners made by the same brand that fit perfectly in the wastebasket. As for the lid, it’s not quiet or load to me. I mean, it’s a metal trash can, and it’s not advertised as having a soft closing lid. It’s fine. I honestly think people are just being picky, or they aren’t using a liner, so the metal hitting against the metal and plastic is making a load noise. It doesn’t seem to be a problem with the trash bag inside. I would purchase this again.

I love SimpleHuman products and have owned several. Bought this little can because our elderly dog decided to start pulling stuff out of the old trash can and leave it strewn across the bathroom. A can with a lid was a real must! I read the reviews and, although a little put off by the ones showing cans with dings and dents on arrival, decided to take a chance. The one I ordered arrived in perfect condition. I love its small size. The sound of the lid closing is diminished a little by the liner, so it's not as loud as I expected. I did need to move it out a bit from the wall, to avoid having the lid smack the wall every time I stepped on the pedal. Still, a very nice product that looks great and performs well. I recommend it.

This replaces my umpteenth step-on plastic waste basket, where the plastic mechanism eventually snaps, and probably will be the last one I ever need to buy! It is very well-made, its sleek lines are classic, and yet it is unobtrusive. The only thing that has been frustrating to get used to is that it both opens and closes VERY slowly, and it does not open a full 90 degrees. So it takes a little longer to get rid of that used dental floss carefully (sorry, TMI). However I still think its low-profile shape and extraordinary durability will be worth it, in the long run.

I love the size and look of this trash bin. Fits perfectly in my bathroom where I have limited space between the vanity and toilet. I love the finish (bought in bronze) and the lid closes very softly. Comes with a few small trash bags. Mine had a dent in it when I took it out of the packaging, but I was able to pop it out. I noticed it does get water marks if you spray freshener over it, but wipes off easily.

I'd been shopping for step-on waste baskets because I needed firmly closing lids, due to my dogs' fascination with the contents from ordinary waste baskets without lids. I found these simplehuman 1.2 gallon compact step ons with lids at a great price, so I then read the reviews to see if they were worth the price. Nearly all of the reviewers were very pleased with them, however, many complained of them tipping over too easily because they were so light weight. Since they obviously needed more weight and balance in the bottoms of the cans, I set out to find the perfect fix. Having searched at home for anything that would work and finding nothing, I then thought about placing magnets or something similar under the plastic can liner, having a small diameter and weight, and whatever it was had to be thin enough or the lid would not close properly. Finding that fix was no easy task! Finally, barbell weights came to mind, the smaller light weight type, and voila~!! I found it! The "fix" that works for me is a Weider 2.5 lb. Workout Weight Hammertone Plate that fits the round bottom of the can perfectly, and is thin enough to not disrupt the mechanism of the lid opening and closing. They were on Ebay for $3 each, and I got one for each of the simplehuman step ons for each of our bathrooms. The weights were a perfect fit in every way, and not once has either can tipped over or even moved! The lids open and close properly every time. I'm extremely pleased with these step ons, and have zero complaints. I no longer have to kindly remind our guests to PLEASE close the bathroom door when exiting, and best of all, I've had to clean up zero disgusting shredded trash everywhere, and the doors now remain open ~ unless occupied, of course! ❤️😊

Bin looks sleek and discrete in the bathroom, finishing of product is great, soft peddle close works well and doesn't slip too much when opening and closing the bin. Comes with 2 bin liners from simple human which fit exactly in the bin whilst hiding the liner from appearing on the outside

Wie alle Produkte von Simple Human ein sehr schönes, qualitativ hochwertiges Teil. Echt ein netter Hingucker, der kleine Mülleimer sieht einfach toll aus. Ich habe ihn in weiss gekauft, ein ganz leichtes Cremeweiss mit Chromteilen. Das passt ideal zu dem Retrolook und in unser Bad. Tretmechanismus funktioniert wunderbar. Ich kaufe nicht die Originaltüten, da tun es normale aus dem Drogeriemarkt auch. Würde den tollen Mülleimer jederzeit wieder kaufen. Habe auch einen genialen Badspiegel und einen Seifenspender von Simple Human. Alles top!

Ich suchte einen schönen Abfalleimer für die Küche in diesem Farbton...leider gab es keinen größeren 😉mir gefällt er super...allerdings auch nicht billig .kann den Abfalleimer aufjedenfall empfehlen 👍
