This knife is sick. As I was unboxing I accidentally sliced my finger; although slightly painful, it was a good sign the blade was sharp. The plastic cover was easy to remove, again, due to a sharp blade. Once unpackaged the blade is very shiny and pristine. The handle as well; it was shiny and looked like woodgrain vehicle interior.The first cut. I first used this knife right out of the plastic to cut vegetables. I tend to sharpen my knives before cutting vegetables so I can gauge how sharp the knife really is. It cut through onion like butter, I barely teared. The handle and blade felt solid and secure, even when choking up on the handle a bit.After a few days of use and a few slices to paper to gauge sharpness, the knife still held its own. Like any other knife, after a few days of use, the knife will begin to dull to some extent. I sharpened the knife with my two stage sharpener; this brought the knife back to a buttery-like slice. However, the knife was definitely not as sharp as it was out of the box, even right after being sharpened.I would recommend this knife to anyone who has an original kitchen set chef's knife and is ready to take culinary to the next level. This is a great beginners chef's knife, especially for the price. Although I haven't used the knife for that long, and I do care for the knife, I haven't seen any stains or signs of rust. I was unsure of purchasing this knife because I never heard of the brand before; don't let that come between your decision to purchase this knife!

I tried this knife on different things: meat, fish, vegetable, bone, shrimp, lobster, crab, fruit, and so on. It is very solid and sharp! It makes my cutting easier than ever. I am very excited to leave feedback on these knives! I have taken adequate time to get familiarized with this manufacturer and I have been using and loving their products. The quality of the product, price, speed of delivery and attentiveness of the seller are all outstanding. I must start by telling you that I was NOT paid to write this review and that I have purchased the full set of these knives at full price. I couldn’t be happier with the purchase. At this point I own the entire set and I have purchased multiples of the serrated 8” utility because it is the best feeling steak knife I’ve ever put my hands on. Awesome job, this is now the best kitchen knife out of my quite considerable collection.Knife steel is not quite as pretty as the one pictured, but overall a wonderful blade. I'm very happy with it. It's beautifully weighted and feels great in the hand. Makes short work of whatever food gets in it's way. I haven't had it long enough to testify to how long it well keep it's edge, but I have a feeling it will hold up very well.It's really hard for me to describe my feelings about this knife. I'm a person who really enjoys using good knives and do not like the feel of cheap knives. However I have never owned, not seen a steel knife in person. The quality of this knife absolutely takes my breath away. I am in love with this knife.First of all it is beautiful. Obviously. I couldn't tell from the photos but the marbling pattern on the blade is actually carried through to the handle as well. Before now I had always thought a good knife was more about the blade, but this knife blows me away because of the comfort of the handle. It actually feels warm in my hand. The balance is so perfect that I can open my hand while using the knife and it stays in the palm of my hand. It is perfect. I don't know how else to accurately describe the handle except to say it is unlike any other knife that I own. And I own a few high end knives that came with a lifetime warranty and are a joy to use. But they don't come close to this. It feels like it was made for my hand.The blade is sharp and perfect. It slices beautifully through every different thing I've tried it on so far. I am tempted to try and figure out how to upload a video because I feel like the sound it makes when slicing is so perfect that maybe that could give you a better idea, but I can't figure out how to shoot a video and wield the knife at the same time. Anyway, the blade is sharp and beautiful and perfect. I haven't found anything it doesn't handle with ease. Even things like tomatoes which I would generally use a slightly serrated knife for, it slices through like butter.

Not very sharp. Cannot cut tomato slices crisply without smooshing it. Handle isn't secure on the knife metal after first use. Cheap. I would not buy again.

I’m so much satisfied with my purchase this time. I love cooking and I know it’s critical to have a right tool in the kitchen. Actually it’s far more beyond my expectation. I was impressed by the quality and great material. Just like what they said that well balanced the size and weight. I personally prefer light weight and I think this is the perfect one for any task. I felt great in my hand every time I use it. It’s extremely sharp and precise that I have ever owned. I use it every night since I bought it two weeks ago. It works great to cut all kinds of vegetables, even tomatoes and meat. I even tried a few times to use it cut sushi roll and it’s terrific. Although I haven’t use it long enough, I can tell the blade shows absolutely no signs of dulling and hasn't required any kind of sharpening. I believe it will be durable and plus it has life time guarantee. The handle is very comfortable, firm in hand and it looks cool. I think I need to buy more and I will since I use it almost to handle everything. I highly recommend this knife. With this price, I doubted you can get a better deal than this. It worth every penny you spent on it. Even the packaging is beautiful and the knife itself is gorgeous. I think it will be a perfect gift for family.

Wow, great knife for reasonable price. I out a lot of time into research before buying. I could not be happier and wish I could say that about all of my online purchases.

We found the knife to be light weight, in fact it's more than 2 ounces lighter than other similarly sized knifes. We also felt that the balance was off the handle is much heavier than the blade. The handle doesn't have a contour grip. The bolster is undersized which could cause a slippage danger. And finally the knife didn't not hold its edge very well despite being steeled after each usage.

Great knife for the price. Well balanced and sharp right from the start. This was a promotional piece that came free with my Bluesim 5 piece knife set. I'm giving it as a gift for a family member, but it is definitely a knife I would like to have as a extra. The handle is nice, but I do prefer the handles of the Bluesim 5 piece better. Has good quality. Great as a spare or perfect for a gift. Box is included so it has it's own place to rest.
