If you press the buttons on each remote at the same time. They will not work together to mimic one another. They are not synced

Can you turn on this robot pet using the remote or just by pressing the nose?

My great nephew uses the remote to control everything. I was unaware that you could control anything the Robot Dog does by pressing the nose.

Can this robot dog avoid any obstacle?

No. It moves and you can push different buttons to make it do different moves, but you can't 'drive' it like a remote control car.
