Simple, simple simple
Well, I’m late to the world of Roku had no idea what it was bought a small Roku TV for our RV because it was a really good price and just fell in love with it now we’re home and I’ve bought the Roku plug-in devices to add to both of my TVs at home it’s a great little gadget so easy to use. There’s no learning curve. You just plug it in. Turn it on. Click on your HMDI port and you’ve got everything at your finger tips.Depending on the kind of TV, you have depends on how difficult it is to get to your streaming apps we have an LG that makes it difficult to pick the app you want takes a really long time probably three or four minutes before you actually can get to the movie you wanna watch so this Roku thing is wonderful We really like it so simple and so easy. I would recommend anybody out there if you’re on the border of buying it or not get it. It’s very reasonably priced oh and I do want to mention we have three fire sticks not so easy to operate. Roku also has a microphone button Works like a charm. I never could get the one on the fire stick to work no matter what I ask it or what I said or how long I held the button down never never so needless to say most of those are just in a drawer. There’s no lag. It’s just a wonderful operating tool for TV simplifies everything And so far although we haven’t had it very long. That’s very reliable. I would buy it again if I have any more TVs, I’m going to buy the Roku brand cause then you don’t have to add anything.

I'm a fan. I've bought 4.
This is my forth Roku device. I first had a Roku TV, that I gifted to my daughter when I bought a new smart TV, the second one, my other daughter needed for her little boy, I moved my third one to my guest room & replaced that one with my latest Roku purchase that I have in my living room. I definitely like my Roku. All 4 devices are still working well, except for the TLC TV - it has a flicker that makes it too difficult to watch. They connected easily to WiFi, streaming is excellent, I, personally, would prefer a slightly heavier design just because it tends to move around on the table too easily.

Best interface, great for free channels and paid.
Roku has the best interface for streaming services. This was easy to install, just plug it in to the hdmi to the tv and to the wall outlet and make sure that your tv is displaying the hdmi that you've plugged the roku into. Go to setup, log into your network and then just add the channels you want. The Roku channel has a good selection and is free along with a bunch of other channels... I watch a lot on Tubi even though I subcribe to about 5 paid services. I've used straight tv interfaces and the roku is much easier than any of them (other than the roku tv of course. You can usually set it up to turn on and off the tv, and the volume control is in the remote, so no need for the potato to leave the couch.

Exceptional Streaming Experience – Perfect for LATAM Users with VPN!
Roku 4K TV Plus delivers stunning picture quality and a seamless streaming experience. As a user in Latin America, I’ve found that pairing it with a reliable VPN opens up a whole new world of content – from US-based streaming services to international apps. The interface is user-friendly, the remote is intuitive, and the streaming speed is impressive, even in 4K. Whether you’re binge-watching the latest series or exploring global content, this device is a must-have. Highly recommended for anyone in LATAM looking to expand their streaming options!

You get what you pay for
About 3 weeks ago, we replaced our very expensive home cable internet and TV system with fiber optic. Two of our TVs were not the smart variety which could work with WiFi, therefore two Roku devices with remotes were purchased and installed. It took some time going through the set up and a few days to get use to using. The cable company we used had a much better menu. It was easier and faster to access programs we wanted to watch. Using Roku, it's slower and takes more steps to go through the the same process. The small remote must be pointed directly at the little blue light on the Roku device plugged into the HDMI port on the TV. The volume and mute buttons are on the side of the small remote so your fingers inadvertantly change the volume or mute when pushing the buttons on the face. Often times it takes several pushes of buttons to get a response on the TV. Using the voice activation is a pain since you have to talk into the small remote while pointing it directly at the blue light. Other than that, it works OK even though slower and we are getting use to it little by little over time. The cost for the first month using fiber and buying the two roku devices is less than half of what we were paying for cable.

Fantastic device, better than the Amazon Firesticl
Love this item! I use it for my outdoor movie setup but you can also use it anywhere you have an HDMI hookup. The setup was pretty simple to navigate. It connects seamlessly with my projector and even though we are 200 ft from my home WiFi, we have had no wifi connection issues. Also, our family vacay is at a spot where they don’t have streaming setup. We can hook up this Roku device to our TV and have access to all our streaming apps.I also think this is a MUCH better option than the Amazon fire stick because it comes with a power cord. Amazon’s comparable product costs $20 more and you have to buy the power supply separately. No, absolutely not. This Roku device works well, has easy setup and is equal in value.

Faster than the previous versions
I've had several Roku's over the years. Compared to smart TVs or consoles and other devices, I always come back to Roku because it has the best interface and is user friendly. I got this item and it works even better than the old versions that I'm still using. It's noticeably faster than the old 2nd gen roku I was using. Setting it up was incredibly easy and the remote paired with my TV basically instantly. It was incredibly simple and I was using it within minutes of set up.

No complaints yet
First time buying a streaming device. (Just went full streaming and got rid of Dish) Other reviews here and elsewhere implied this is one of the better devices out there. Seems easy enough to use. Probably shouldnt say this here, but thinking of replacing my inherited fire stick with one of these.
