Strong and well made with embroidered logos. I got this for the Celestron Origin mount, tripod, and equatorial wedge. It's a little tricky getting everything in. I got the dedicated Celestron Origin bag for the OTA. If you are going to spend over $6,000 on your astrophotography rig then protect it well!

This is a fantastic bag. it is the perfect size for my Celestron 5" Maksutov-Cassegrain with computer mount. Just loosen two big finger release knobs and the scope almost instantly separates into 3 pieces. They fit perfectly into the really well padded bag, along with some eyepiece. The carrying handle is large and easy to hold, exactly balanced. This makes it very convenient for me to 'disassemble' my scope and put it away between uses. Before I bought this bag, I would drag the scope around the room to just get it out of the way temporarily. haha. Can't believe it did that. But now it's just as easy to safely put it away. Did I mention the price was well worth it?

I looked at the 34" version and I think I could have fit the scope and the tripod without the mount, but I didn't want to haul the mount around with me separately. This bag allows me to secure the mount on top of the tripod and it fits perfectly. Comes with a storage bag where I put my lenses and battery pack, etc. The bag has quality padding on the sides and adjustable Velcro pads to keep things protected and separated inside. Zippers seem to be quality and they have nice pull tabs that are easy to grab. I am glad I went with this option. Good job Celestron.

I do like this bag. I had just purchased a Celestron 8SE Telescope & I asked 'Rufus' if the telescope would fit in the bag, & he replied, 'Yes.' It does fit the entire Celestron 8SE Telescope BUT the straps which fit around the globe were cut short, so you will not be able to lock the globe in the 2 straps provided for it - they are about 6" too short, which was very disappointing to me. However, the telescope & all it's parts fit in the bag snugly & with the adjustable velcro cushions, I am able to store this nicely, so I have no other complaints. The bag is very well made & has an outer compartment & an inner zipping bag for storage of other pieces.

Bought this to fit my son's new telescope the Celestron Star Sense Explorer DX130AZ. Fits great and easy to carry.

It's exactly what I was looking for in a travel gear bag. Large, lightweight, lots of padding & dividers, plenty of room for my Henry rifle in it's scabbard, tripod, binoculars and all the accessories that go with them. Adding an inexpensive folding lightweight dolly to strap to it and it's a budget version of a more expensive wheeled duffle gear bag it's size.

After purchasing the Celestron Nexstar 8SE, I wanted to have a proper way to carry and store my telescope. The OTA, (tube), case was also ordered and delivery is soon. This tripod bag is just the ticket to nicely hold the tripod AND the mount. By shifting the tripod head mounting plate, to the right as shown in the pictures, there is just enough room for the mount head to be placed at the tripod "feet" on the left side. For now an old towel provides an OK solution to keep the tripod and head safely separated. An old sock was gently pulled over the top of the mount and controller to secure the hand controller in its cradle. I had a fairly good idea that this bag would hold both the tripod and mount and I guessed correctly. The bag has ample side padding and the bottom is reinforced with a stiffer, PVC sheet. The two zippers are heavy duty and function easily. All in all this bag seems to be constructed very well and for the same price as other, general service bags, I am happy with this purchase....

Je cherchais un rangement pour mon télescope Celestron Nexstar 8SE capable de mettre le tube ET la motorisation dans le même sac tout en gardant la protection en mousse d'origine par sécurité. C'est chose faite avec un peu de découpe de la mousse en biseaux pour la mousse de protection du dessus du tube. C'est parfait pour le prix et le sac est de qualité avec un tissu très épais et le logo Celestron brodé. À completer avec le sac tripod bag pour le trepied et quelques accessoires et tout est complet pour stocker votre Nexstar 8SE. Très content.

I bought this product for a slightly off-target use ... to protect my NexStar 8SE optical tube and Alt-Az drive. I was pleased that it is well made and has heavy duty hardware, padding and sewing. It has some features that I don't use (e.g., retaining straps/hardware to secure a tripod, which is the intended design use). Nevertheless, it's dimensions work for what I need, with only minimal additional padding. Everything works well for my use. I only wish it had hardware loops to attach bungee cords to hold the bag on to my transportation hand cart.

Very spacious and decently padded for car transport. NexStar 4SE + mount, oculars, battery pack and some more gear all fit well with some room to spare. Bigger NexStar tubes (6/8) probably won't fit as comfortably.

Not the same as photo! Very disappointed! Not very padded, zip doesn't go all the way across, no pockets, no separate sections in the bag. Will be returning!
