Pretty Disappointing ***Update**** Beyond Awful... Maybe Dangerous
****Update--- On the second time using this product I received a series of electrical shocks. The feet of the chair are made of plastic so it certainly wasn't coming from an external source. It is almost like the heating coils are building up a ton of static electricity and popping the person when they touch the metal.... although this is much stronger than your typical static electricity shock. So the chair is 1) uncomfortable 2) not real effective 3) Gives me electrical shocks. Clearly, it sucks to a high degree. I went to return it and a whole new set of trouble began... Amazon wouldn't accept the return because it was classified as a "dangerous liquid" which is clearly wrong. I contacted the seller, Gobi, and they said they would accept the product under warranty and send me a new one. I *absolutely* did not want another one of these chairs. So I asked if Amazon had considered doing a recall on the product since it is shocking people. Gobi then said they would work with Amazon so that I could get a refund. Great... I can get a refund. When I printed the return label (through the Amazon) I realized that Gobi is forcing me to pay the return postage to return their defective product.... it cost us $56.20 to return their defective piece of junk!!! Amazon should seriously consider doing a recall on this product.************************ update over***********************************************************8Considering the price we are pretty disappointed in the Gobi Terrain Heated Camping Chair. Our purpose for buying it was to stay warm during our daughter's softball tournaments... it works, but not for very long and it has a couple of big flaws.- First thing first.... the battery life is only so-so. I get that. Producing heat is energy-intensive and requires quite a bit of electricity. The disappointing part is the battery is not a straight 5V output. You can use it as a traditional 5v battery for charging phones, but the connection to the chair is higher voltage and amperage. Again... I would much rather have a 5V 2.1A standard input, but they probably just can't get enough juice to make the chair warm enough. Here is the unforgivable part... you can't power the chair from a traditional outlet. So when the battery is dead you are out of luck. There is no plugging in the battery and using the chair from the new power source. This means that on high output you will be lucky to get 2 1/2 of high heat before the chair is totally dead.- Next - The chair isn't super comfortable. It isn't terrible, but it is pretty hard. Finally, our's might be defective, but this thing is a pain to fold up. It's like you are battling the thing to get it to collapse. I have never used a camping chair that is so hard to collapse.Final verdict - we are going to give it one more try, but unless we become seriously impressed we will likely return it.

It's a good chair
A little spendy but the chair is very sturdy. The high quality battery lasted the 2 plus hours while at the soccer game. I plugged my phone into it just to check it out. It charged slowly, but it did charge it. I wish the heat got a little warmer and I think the gap between the seat and the armrest should have some fabric to stop wind. I was the envy of all the soccer moms.

Love it but 1 downfall
Love my chair! Only downfall is the battery has only been holding a charge for about 2 hours on medium. When I use high it only lasts about an hour. It's been around 30 degrees here at night and was hoping it would last longer.
