I purchased this project for our cat Galadriel who always seemed to be cold and seeking heat. Unfortunately, she passed away before I could introduce her to this blanket. In honor of her memory, I donated both blankets I had purchased to our local animal shelter and, after inquiry, I'm told that the fur babies love their new blankets and it helps keep them warm and comfortable, which can be especially challenging in a kennel environment. It's especially helpful for kittens who need extra warmth. Sad purchase turned into joyful memory of giving.

This product is the only thing our ungrateful cat will use. We have bought her a cat tree, a regular cat bed, and countless toys. We’ve spent hundreds on this cat and she won’t even pretend to like what we buy for her.But she loves this bed.Finally we’ve found something she’s use, and we can stop spending money trying to please her. If something ever happens to this bed, I’ll have no issues buying another one. Besides that, she can stick to using paper bags and fallen potatoes peels as toys since those seem to be her favourite.- We haven’t had to wash it yet, but I can’t see that being an issue- It’s soft- It’s kinda thin, but our cat doesn’t like big, fluffy beds- It’s a good size. It would work well for small dog breeds like Shih Tzus too.- We’ve tested it ourselves, and we do feel the warming effects of it

I love that soft touch , now what my cat is thinking about it , she don't care never smell it or touch it and look at it , what will happen next , the cat still continue to used the bed , i will used the cat's blanket and sleep like a baby and i will have an happy wife she will get the entire bed with the cat , happy family here , thank's . i plan to divorce

I didn't expect much from this item for the cost of it.The faux-fur is quite short and feels very synthetic.Scrunching up the pillow up makes it sound like there is a plastic liner is inside and without much padding it is quite thin.Slick wording of the description is probably what got me.Therma, Self Warming.. yah, your cat lays on it, it gets warm from your cat laying on it and it heats up.That could be said of just about anything your cat lays on.This is NOT the same as Infrared Thermal Clothing technology, which essentially recycles the body heat (IR) you give off back to you through patented (ceramic) threading in the clothes.Our cat liked it for about a week I think because it was new, but hasn't layed on it since.Besides the cat not using it, for the reasons above I don't recommend this item unfortunately.

So, he hasn’t left it since I put him on it. And he only attacks beds/blankets/rugs if he’s in love with them. He’s a fan!! Also, he’s a 14 pound kitty and fits comfortably on this cat mat.
