RV Awning Fabric Replacement Standard Grade Premium Vinyl (16'(Fabric 15'2"), Beige Fade)

This was a perfect replacement for our old ripped awning. It fit our Dometic setup perfectly and was very straightforward to install. The included instructions didn’t have all the details so we watched videos online to help figure out how to re-tension the springs...but honestly, we didn’t buy this for the instructions, we just needed the material which definitely exceeded our expectations for how cheap it was.We hadn’t ever replaced an awning ourselves and only took about an hour; I think it actually took longer for us to find our rivet gun and supplies than install. HahaI included a close-up pic of the grey/charcoal fade. I absolutely love the look of it. I would definitely buy this again. I hope it holds up well!

Loved the color, loved the material, loved the thickness for the cost. However, unless you have some handiness or serious perseverance and an assortment of power tools this is not an easy installation. There are special rivets on the cylinder of most awnings, which The average person is not going to have the proper tool. I had do use drill bits to remove them and then I had to dig through an assortment of different sized Self tapping metal screws to replace the rivets. Once the rivets for handled the actual installation is very quick, However it does take two people. You will need some sawhorses ladders, pliers etc. Do you want to be careful that as you’re installing your awning that you don’t accidentally rip it. Overall I’d recommend this product for the quality the durability the thickness, And its overall stitching quality.But there will not be anyone who can do this in five minutes, Unless they replace awnings professionally every single day. With that being said be prepared for an all day project.

After installing, we noticed 4 pinholes, all are in the manufacturers folds. It was a very time consuming project and very disappointing to finish and see these and even upon inspection prior to installing we would not have seen.

The instructions for the install are correct, but unless you have experience and are a pro with spring loaded equipment, ask for assistance or like we did - find another way to install.Our experience installing this, without unloading the spring, went well. However, keep in mind we had four people helping to install. Once we were all in the same page and set up, it look less than ten minutes to install. Be prepared to have assistance.

Pre measured old awning per directions, new awning was the same exact size. It was easy to install because of the prep work done before installing. Watch a couple of online videos first. Now just to see how long it will hold up. This awning is replacing one that was 16 years old (original from factory).

We ordered this awning after reading other reviews. This awning came really fast and it seems very durable. We love the color. We did watch a few videos on changing out the awning before trying it ourselves. So happy we bought this and would highly recommend to anyone wanting a DIY project to save some money.

There was a little blemish in the color on the valence that I didn’t notice till I had it all installed. But I guess I can live with it. It fit good and the install was easy. The instructions are vague so just watch a YouTube video.

I had pretty low expectations since I was buying in this lower price range, but the quality turned out to be really great. I just installed, so can't comment on the durability long term, but the material is nice and thick, the pattern looks great, and the install went really well. Everything is working the way it's supposed to. The instructions weren't 100% clear, but there are tons of videos on you tube that walk you through it. Super happy with the purchase.
