Phenomenal that's what you get when you put Dawn Sidebottom and Ker Dukey together.Facade was amazing~ Cadence was brilliant, BRAVO LADIES !!I don't want to say to much because I don't want to ruin anything by giving out any spoilers.You Must Read Facade first ! Cadence picks up right where Facade leaves off.Dante still has Faye. Cade is determined to get her back.I was torn between the Dangerously Dark Dante and his twin brother Cade. Who also has a bit of a dark side to him that is eager to be unleashed.In Cadence we get to see a whole other side to Dante, his need for revenge has taken over and has made him crewel and sadistic."Excerpt"Dante ~~“Lose it.” I fought the tremble in my legs and uncurled my fingers, fixing my gaze on the wall over his head as the towel fell to the floor. Façade was my book of the year for 2014 now I want to bundle them all in one and say this is my series of the year!I am sure if they were kids in school Ker and DH would not be allowed to sitnext to each other! How their minds worked together to write this story isjust amazing. The dark twisted and heart breaking good characters in this series have me hooked.We ended FaCade on a cliffy of note! I was chomping at the bit to see wherethe story would take us, we learn in those last few seconds of Cade. I knowthat my mind would not let this book go and kept going back to it over andover again.In Cadence we truly meet Cade and I think for the very first time see justwho Dante really is. I wanted so badly for Dante to turn out the hero, thenice guy and grow a heart and I kept hoping that all through the story. Andthey kept making me hope it even more... BUT... I wanted Cade to win too, Iwanted him to find her and love her and fix what his brother had done. Thisbook had my feelings all in a twist wanting everyone to win when you knowthat they can't.I have to say that these two ladies certainly know how to write a book thatwill have your insides in twist and your heart racing in all directions. Ihave become a true fan-girl over these two and wait on baited breath foreach new release. Every time they take me by surprise at just how good theirwriting is.The extra kick for me in this book was the twin dynamic, I know a littleabout twins being married to one... The connection between twins issomething that is truly unexplained and I felt the connection whenever thefeelings between the two brothers was brought into the picture. They got itspot on! (there is always an evil-twin)For characters that will leave you wondering and wanting so many things youcannot beat this series. I look forward to the follow up novella from thesetwo wickedly good minds.Again, as I said after FaCade - This will not float every ones boat and thesubject matter is dark, but the story within drowns that all out. So thereare no roses and unicorns, but there is an absolutely wonderful storywrapped in a dark twisted wrapper all tied up with Dante.Once again two of my favourites have delivered an unforgettably good story.

OkI was able to get through Book 2. To simply sum this book, outside of an “OUTSTANDING READ”!!! Dante is a complete and total bastard!!The authors are freekin insane. I found myself hating him in Façade and Cadence and then out of all the nerve, felt sorry for him towards the end!! What is wrong with me? How and why I’m I feeling this way?, Simple..The authors are simply GENIUS!!!This was a total mind kicker and had me on the edge of my seat on every page. There were soo many twists and turns. Faye had the HATE (confusion of LOVE) from Dante, to the undeniable LOVE through and through by Cade!!Who knew two people could be soo different, but really looking at both Dante and Cade, the love in their heart reflected each others when it came to Faye, one was just too destroyed by it, with no realistic path forward. Their Love for Dante’s Star/Belle and Cade’s Faye was in fact one in the same, from two people who shared the same womb.If you are looking for a detailed review here and a full breakdown of the story, that is not what my reviews are about. Simply put…READ THE BOOK!! Make sure you have a nice cool drink with you and get comfortable, for a trip down CRAZY Lane!!!!

Having read Facade, the first part of the two part story, I guess I expected the good twin Cade to overcome the rotten, twisted obsessive and paranoid Dante, rescue Faye, and despite some difficulties to overcome lead into a HFN/HEA and in one way, yes, but the way was littered with tortured, abused bodies, obsession and paranoia of one twin whose abuse, manipulation and use of other people goes beyond anything I've read before, and to be honest I found it a bit much. Can't say I enjoyed it, I didn't, but I was so far into their situation I needed to find how the writer shows the characters resolutions.Faye, at times I wanted to shake her, but she is a plucky character and takes more than most. However, her inability to explain to her love of her life what has happened let the story down somewhat. Yes, she wants to protect him but it was so angst ridden it was too much and at times failed the suspension of believability. I found I wanted to rush and finish and find out and not take my time and enjoy the story.Actually I wanted to kick both Cade and Faye for so much heartwringing over their deliberations of thoughts and feelings.At the same time I find I still want to know how Jenson gets on finding Hunter and that I do like to see scum get their comeuppance.There was a point at the end of understanding, forgiveness and almost mercy between the twin brothers and I found it moving, sad and awful it had to be as was. I even found I was feeling sad about Malik despite his role throughout.Reader beware both books are a real mind twister and there is a lot of trauma, vengeance and revenge in this and it's clearly described and won't be for all, dark and depraved readers will generally cope better.Border 3-3.5 from me for the conclusion of the story and 4 for facade.

Two things I need to get off my chest before I go anywhere with this review...Firstly.... Ker.... Dawn.... OMG you two are genius's and boy did you do a number on my head!!Secondly.... #teamCade all the way!!Now I have got that off my chest, ladies this is an amazing book!! After the state my mind was left in at the end of Facade, I won't lie I entered Cadence with a little hesitation especially as to what state my poor brain would be left in this time. There are books that stay with you, for different reasons, this is one that will always stay with me because of the WTF moments, the I didn't see that coming moments and mostly because of the amazing plot and writing skills of two very wonderfully deliciously dark women. I'm not going to go into the plot very much because I'm not causing any spoilers or giving anything away haha but I will mention some things. I love the whole Dante/Cade/Faye (Star) dynamic, I love that in Facade my heart broke and bled for Faye however in Cadence she comes back stronger and feistier but she kind of has too.Cadence is from Cade's POV and you learn more about how all three of them got to be where they are and why. this book is so wonderfully dark and so full of moments that will shock you, some moments that will leave you awestruck and moments that will just shatter you. BUT it is so worth taking this journey and feeling all that Ker and Dawn intend you to feel. Their writing is astounding and the places they take you to, believe me you won't believe where you end up, you just never in a million years see it coming and every time you think you have your head wrapped around it, think again!! I honestly didn't think that Facade could be topped but the ladies did it and they did it immensely. I think all thats left to say is that these ladies, Ker and Dawn, have a way of making words bow down and worship them and the dark, twisted, gruesomely wonderful ideas that come from their devilishly amazing minds!! If you like a dark read that will bite back and slap you in the face with dark twists and turns you won't see coming, this series is for you!!!

Cadence by Ker Dukey & D.H. Sidebottom is the concluding part of a two part thrill of a ride. You must read Facade first before this book!!A captivating read that entices you in, refuses to let you go even when it all seems too much to bear at times you're hooked until the very end. I felt a myriad of emotions whilst reading: dread, fear, hatred and a glimmer of hope!! It's a wonder my kindle survived.Cadence picks up where Facade left off with a new person brought into proceedings: Cade. He is one to flip all things on their head and change all of Dante's plans, he himself has plans for Faye and those don't include Dante.This strong, determined man has never given up on Faye, never believing that she was gone forever: "I knew my woman was out there my soul was tethered to hers and it still sensed her essence. I would never rest until I found her."He resolutely continues searching only to come discover his worst fear, Dante has had Faye all along and he will go through hell to get her back!! Cade will not give up until he is reunited with his other half and nothing will stand in his path.Faye/ Star is still forced to play a part and continues to be tormented by Dante, not knowing who she can trust and unaware that even bigger betrayals will surface in the future she blindly does anything to survive as anyone would in her position. As new enemies are unmasked Faye has to make painful decisions that bring her closer to the gates of hell.Will Faye make it out alive? Who will win between Cade and Dante? How far will Cade go in order to save his other half... *******CADENCE**********Review by LindaCadence by Ker Dukey and D H SidebottomHow excited was I when this book appeared on my kindle.I have been dying to know what was gonna happen next, and boy did it give me everything I hoped for and lots more.Cadence continues on from where Facade stopped, we get to find out what the hell is going on and we have someone new in the story, "Hello Cade".Who the hell is Cade you ask? well Dante is a twin. Yes Cade is Dante's twin he is also Faye's fiance, and he now knows that Faye is still alive and where she is.Cade is not a man to mess with he has demons in fact the devil resides in Cade just as much as he does in Dante, but the difference is Cade knows how to control him. When Dante left a heartbroken Faye behind she became Cade's responsibility, he vowed to take care of and protect her. That is what he is now about to do.Should Dante be concerned?Will Faye ever get away from Dante.Will Cade seek his revenge on his Twin.Omg the twist and turns in this book are beyond phenomenal.You have not a chance in hell of guessing the direction the book will take you.Ker Dukey and D H Sidebottom are both crazy Fanfreakingtastic authors.If you have read Facade then you will be happy to know Cadence is a brilliant conclusion to this story.If you haven't read Facade then do so now you don't know what your missing5*****

5+++++TWISTED .. DARK .. INTENSE STARS .. and I loved every single moment of this Book. This book is not for Faint heartedKer and D.H.Sidebottom have done it again with another Fantastic read How these two do it I will never know.Cadence picks up right after the events of Facade and with the shocking revelation that it left us with.If you haven't read Façade you must to right now before you start this book as it picks up right where Façade left usThis time we get to see the book through the eyes of Cade…. Dante's Twin I will not give much away as I don't want to spoil it for anyone.Ker and D.H Sidebottom did such an amazing Job with all the Characters all the emotions fear hateing love and raw passion you feel them all while reading. Such a roller coaster of a ride you meet old Characters and some new ones ,some you will love some you will hate but you can decide for yourselves.There are good guys that turn out bad, bad guys that die.It is just an amazing read Must read series of 2014
