I live in a very high wind area, so sometimes having a large fire is not ideal and we’ve actually had an instance when we put a fire out or so we thought and the wind picked up an hour later there’s flames coming out of it so it was very scary being that I live in the desert and I’m 25 miles out of town with very little water on the property so I thought I would give this product a try and it actually works perfect I love that you can just put the lid on to extinguish it the flames are perfect height for roasting marshmallows, and there aren’t any ashes flying out or sparks. I really love this. I have used it three different times so far and it still has many hours left on it. I’m very happy with my purchase I highly recommend it super fun and you can use it for 10 minutes or 30 minutes or longer and it’s reusable. It’s absolutely perfect. I love it so much.

It was nice to have a camp fire in a can that was easy to light and easy to put out and I really enjoyed using it. It is high quality and small enough to throw in a backpack ready for that easy campfire experience.

I just did a backpacking trip to The Narrows in Zion National Park (top-down) in October. Got to my campsite a little later than expected. It got dark early and the temperature quickly plummeted into the low 40°s. I was wet and cold. I was able to change into some dry clothes and get heat from the fire while I set up camp and ate dinner.The flame was surprisingly bigger than expected. It threw off a decent amount of light and heat. Don't get me wrong, this isn't a great heat source. But it did provide some comfort and I was able to set my boots, gloves, hat, and other stuff nearby to help with the drying.I let it burn for a couple of hours at night. The next morning was brisk with the temperature around 40°F. I was able to easily light the Mini Campfire again and burn it for about an hour. I was dreading putting those cold wet boots on that morning. The campfire made them warm and comfy. It was very nice not to have to start with cold feet.It quickly cooled and the wax solidified. I put the lid on and packed it home. There is still probably enough wax for another hour+.When considering the weight/value of putting this in my backpack, there's no question. I'll be packing one of these again.Even if you're not looking to camp. It's a great little flame that would add a nice ambiance sitting on an outdoor patio in the evening.

It takes a bit to light the first time, but it makes a neat fire.

This product puts out a lot of heat and light. The smaller size is perfect for backpacking, and the larger size is great for making s’mores with a group. Being able to reuse it is great, and knowing that the fire is completely extinguished when you put the lid on is priceless.

This is a cool product, but when we used it the first time, it took forever to light. We have only used it once, so I hope the second time is easier. I almost resorted to sending it back before I finally got it lit.Upon second use, it was much easier to light. However, we use it to roast marshmallows and it turned them gray almost immediately. They weren’t burnt, either. I’m not sure if you aren’t supposed to use it to roast marshmallows, but I didn’t read anything about that.
