cheaply made, poor connectivity, I don't recommend it.

Didn't screw into my LIFEPROOF Iphone 6S PLUS case. I expected it to seal the port by the threads, but the cable never screwed down as expected.The cable DOES fit and audio works fine with my headset. SO....4 stars because it works.

Bought a Nuud case for my iphone, wasn't able to hook up my current aux cord to it. This extension cable took care of the problem. It also came in a stylish case!

Doesn't fit iPhone 6s Plus like it says it does

I was at first impressed with this product because it's added length made it more usable and the ttachment that holds the cap is brillant. However, it DOES NOT thread into my Lifeproof Nuud case as advertised. It will work but will not seal. It plugs in well enough that the sound quality is fine but if it's pulled on at all, it falls right out. Also, I've noticed that very few aux cables will fit correctly into the extension. They will work well enough for sound but if you pick the phone up, most will unplug. Disappointing.

The build quality and the materials that the product was built from feel robust and far from cheap. It comes with a semi rigid carrying case that works fantastically, normally I'd say that it was a little unnecessary, but having two plugs rather than one makes having a case a logical addition (especially helpful if you also toss your earbuds into the case). As other reviewers have stated the replacement plug for your case is pretty nice, and the fact that the plug is a little longer and can bypass difficult cases is great too... but the real seller for me was that the cable acts as a buffer and median to save my more expensive devices! I use it when I'm working on my computer or at work as a sound engineer with multi-hundred dollar headphones and sometimes I'm clumsy and will either try to leave my desk with my headphones still on, or ill snag a wire with my desk chair resulting in a broken cable which is an absolute pain to repair. These cables serve as a fantastic buffer and extension for those that need it.

I needed a short headphone extension because some of the 1/8th inch plugs I have have large plastic covering that prevents it from going into my phone all the way. This works great because the end is narrow enough to fit in the cutout on my phone's case, where as before I would not have been able to get the plug to go in all the way because of the plastic sheath. I have not figured out what the small plastic attachment to the cable is used for. It does not fit into the cable in any way but you can remove it. I was able to get this at a discount in exchange for an honest review.
