This transfer sling is made out of thick heavy nylon material that is able to handle a heavy person up to 220 lb. On each side is a strong reinforced handle with foam grips that is comfortable and doesn't dig into my hands. You can't actually move someone around just by using this, but you can use it to lift them up into a sitting position or move parts of their body. It's a lot easier than doing it with just hands. When not in use, it can be folded up into a very small profile.

This tool is working out very well for use with a bed-bound elderly relative. It works very well and seems to be durable as well.5 stars!

My parents are old, so I've been trying to get various things to prepare for being a caregiver and thought this would be useful. I have a few lift aid mats, but this one is good for lifting someone from a chair and such.
