Fits pretty well got the large cause my shoulders are pretty wide and it was still a bit tight around them other than that everything is really good its soft comfy and for its first convention run it went pretty we’ll definitely well insulated the color is specific lighting does look black but if you get some good sun you get that royal blue

Goid quality and perfect sizing

This coat looks great and feels much nicer than something you'd get at a costume store for a similar price. The buttons seem sewn on a little loosely and I fully expect to have to fix a couple of those, but that's not a big deal. The main problem is that the sizing is definitely weird. I first ordered an XL based on a review from someone who said they were about my size and it is almost comically oversized through the shoulders and chest. I look like a kid wearing his dad's coat. So before returning it, I ordered a L to compare. That one is extremely form-fitting and not really comfortable to get into or move around in. It looks like the difference between the two sizes is double what the chart says, if not more, and that there really should be a size in between them. If I needed to layer underneath the L I definitely could not do it, but in the XL I could put a couple layers and still have it be too big. In the end, I'm keeping the L and sacrificing comfort because the silhouette actually has a shape to it, like the product photo, whereas the XL just hangs loosely and looks more like a costume and cheaper as a result.

I purchased this for our Drumline Captain for our Drumline Competition Season. It was a great fit and it lasted throughout the entire season. (5 show performances). I steam cleaned it in between performances.
