Very sleek
I'm not very well-versed in tablets, but I heard a recommendation for this one.I own a Mac OSX Snow Leopard (10.6) with installed 8GB and I installed it with a CD I received. I don't have the soft keyboard I don't think. The whole bundle came with two cords, one for the pen and the other for the tablet both to connect into a USB. There's also a set of instructions, the tablet, the pen, and the pen holder with nubs.I followed the instructions that they give you - they're very simple, about 15~50 words per section. The pen holder is a horizontal type holder, as it mentions that the pen should typically be horizontal to reduce pressure on the nub and reducing its life. (Kind of wish it was vertical). The pen will connect to your computer, as will the tablet, but the pen has enough charge to go without for awhile. My mac identified the tablet as an unknown keyboard once I restarted after installation and it partially identified it as a mouse as well (??) but in the end it works just as a tablet should. It's a little slow on GIMP, as the cursor will move ahead of the lines, but I believe that's more of my computer's capabilities, because it's always laggy with art programs for whatever reason. It could be because I've dropped it on more than one occasion. The lines are very smooth and run the way I want them to though, so that's more than enough for me. I haven't used it for very long. Hoping to try it out more from now on.

Overall, this is great for new and novice digital artists!
When I got this, everything in the box was sorted out and useful except for the driver cd and the instruction manual. I've had a number of drawing tablets before this one so they are not really useful to me. I did notice that the manual seemed to be for the wireless version of the tablet though, but it's nothing to worry about. The battery life of the pen is awesome! I didn't get to charge it for a whole hour like you are supposed to, but I haven't had to charge it since Thursday! The tablet itself is alright, it has a curve at the bottom, perfect for laying on your lap. I also like how the USB cord is detachable. When I installed the drivers, I didn't have as many problems as I expected. I only had to re install the drivers 1 time. If you're a new tablet user I would recommend you downloading the drivers from the company website. They work much better and are usually a more updated version of the disk drivers. After a day or two of using it, I did have some problems with getting my cursor to move around in my paint program. It's super annoying, but only seems to effect Paint Tool Sai. I think you fix the problem by un-checking the "Tablet Pc" option in the settings.

Not bad, not the best.
This is a good tablet so far, though I did have to adjust some settings so that the pen didn't leave a "tail", when lifted from the tablet. Most programs, as well as the drivers, can adjust so this stops happening, but I found it annoying that the default settings left a tail. Other than that, it's a good tablet for the price, very sensitive, has a work surface that feels good- not too smooth, not too matte, and comes with four extra standard pen tips. The only thing I could ask for, were different TYPES of tips, like felt, small tip, large tip, etc. The stylus has worked quite well, and doesn't need to be charged for very long, which is an amazing improvement over pens that take batteries, or paying $100+ more dollars for a tablet with a pen that doesn't need to be charged. HIGHLY recommend this model for people who need a budget tablet, or a "beater" tablet. (Ie; one for your kids/ teenager/ travel.) I've had tablets on the very low and high ends, and this is probably the best balance between the two that I have ever seen, in terms of value for the money.

Good piece of gear for the money
Good little unit. I, like many here, was skeptical at a non "Brand" tablet. ( Wacom has ruled this marketplace for years). I work in digital special effects for the movie industry and am used to using tablets but never bought one for home use. The Huion has performed quite well and exceeded my expectations so far. The pen charges from a USB cord and the tablet runs directly into the computer via USB as well. I use it primarily in photoshop and Krita and there are different and definite differences from app to app. Krita seems to use the pressure from the tip more smoothly for example. (I haven't changed any settings in either software packages yet though so this may just be because of my lack of tinkering with Photoshop settings). The size is nice too but there is a learning curve so be patient for a few hours and practice with it for a bit before making any judgements. All in all I think this is a nice piece of gear for the money.

Quirky, but the price makes up for it.
While it is cheaper than a similarly sized Wacom tablet, it has a bunch of quirks you should be aware of. The pressure sensitivity is not what I'd like right out of the box. Maybe I need to dig in my application settings and tweak it a little bit, but as-is its pressure readings are either full on or none at all.... it's difficult to create a gradually thickening line. Instead it jumps from hair-fine to maximum width. It also needs a tap of the pen on the tablet to turn it back on if it has gone to sleep. If you take a break from a project and come back, turning it on in this manner will almost certainly create an unwanted mark on your artwork. It's easily corrected, but it'd be nice to just have a button click do the same thing. All in all, if you're tired of being held hostage to Wacom's prices, this is a nice alternative, but it's certainly not equal.

First Graphics Drawing Tablet.
Came with everything advertised. Had to download drivers from their site and installed them before plugging in the tablet. So far it works pretty well with Gimp on Windows 7. I have not had a chance to try it with Linux, so I will update the post when I have a chance to do so.The only issue I have had is that the driver seems to unload itself if the laptop goes to sleep with the tablet plugged in. When it wakes up, the basic functions still work, but pressure sensitivity is gone. Don't know if this is a Huion driver issue, or if Windows grabs the device with it's own driver upon awaking before the Huion driver grabs the tablet. I'll continue experimenting with this tablet and update if there are any show-stoppers.

It stopped working after a year
It worked really good for just over a year and I created some really good illustrations with it, but it stopped working after that. Specifically, its pen stopped working and without it I couldn't use the tablet. I reached the support and they were horribly late in responding to me, in the end they told me that they couldn't help me as it wasn't bought directly from a Huion authorized store. I posted the issue in some forums and found out the problem was with my pen. I set out to buy a new pen which cost Rs. 2300, which is too much for a pen. So instead, I bought another tablet that will hopefully work longer.Over-all, it works smoothly and I recommend buying it.Here are some illustrations I did with it:

Great product
Using this product for close to a year, works perfectly well. Writing surface is about 80% of an A4 size paper & gives good feedback while writing with the included pen, almost like a normal pen on paper. The included pen is comfortable to grip. Software is quite nifty, & includes a white board for writing equipped with all basic features like different types of pens (bold, fine tip, calligraphy etc) with different colours & textures, erasor etc. Highly recommended.
