I had redone a bathroom in a blue flowered Mexican sink with light blue tiles on the countertop...this blue light hanging from the ceiling was just the touch I needed. LOOKS EXPENSIVE...very high quality light!! My handyman had it in stalled very quickly! GREAT BUY!! AAA+++

We have wanted a different light fixture for the spot for a long time, but could not settle on one. Finally saw this. Hesitated at first because I worried that the design and the multicolor glass may look too childish. But the more I look at it, the more it grows on me. Also, there is the worry about whether it would be bright enough for the spot. So, we decided to order and try it. Many companies offer a similar design of a dragonfly and colored glass. But if you examine closely, the workmanship is not the same. Some companies have really rough lines and the glass pieces are also very roughly shaped. Capulina, at least from the picture, looks the best, although, when I look at the real thing, there are spots in the leaded parts that I think can be better. The installation is not the easiest because of the design of how the chain and the base come together. Gotta beware of the wire being twisted when you attach the chain to the box in the ceiling. The chain is plenty long and we decided to not cut it but add a hook to the ceiling so as to make it easier to change the length for different occasions. At the end, two light bulbs throw enough light for a kitchen table. Because of the shape of the light, it actually create a little cozy intimacy. Using "daylight" light bulb may throw a little more light, but "warm white" light bulbs shows off the colored glass much better and it creates a nicer ambiance for the area. Using dimmable bulbs, you can hook this to a dimmer. The more I look at the lamp, the more I like it.

Just what we were looking for. Nice blue color during the day, and perfect amount of light and fun colors at night. The eyes in particular really grab our attention.Do it, you'll love it :-)

So please with this light! I saw another which was more expensive but wanted blue and I so glad I chose this one. It came packed very well in solid styrofoam so it arrived without any breakage. My s-I-l put it up in about 20 minutes. I comes with all the parts needed and the chain is much longer than I needed but we saved it in case we want to use it somewhere else. Great hanging lamp!

Beautiful lights! We shortened the chain a lot to use over the sink. Installation was fairly easy once you assembled the light & figure out how much chain to use for the length you want. The shade is beautifully made & the chain is heavy duty. This light casts a beautiful soft blue glow on the ceiling. I’m using a daylight LED 60W equivalent bulb which gives ample light for over the sink. When off at night they appear very dark but during the day with natural light coming in the windows they lighten up. Pictures are at night with Illumination. These lights work VERY well on sloped ceilings.
