Such an amazing tool!
Bought this for my wife for Christmas. I just want to say this is such a wonderful device. We own a Polaroid OneStep CloseUp that we had been using the PX line of film in. Taking pictures in that thing felt risky because we never knew how the image would come out based on lighting and focus. I never trusted the camera. The Instant Lab helped us take out the guesswork almost entirely! I still get nervous with the exposure setting, there was a tutorial in the app that I flipped past way too fast and I can't seem to find it again. But the images come out beautifully. We are very excited to keep memories of our growing family in such a gorgeous format. Thanks Impossible! And disregard all the bad reviews. They were done by people who have no idea what Polaroid photography entails. Sure the "Instant" in the name may be slightly misleading, but they should have properly researched it before buying.

The Product does not work.
The product does not work. It is the charging problem most Instant lab have(I just researched it now and a lot of people are having the same problem, it makes noise when you're charging it.) What a waste of Money.

Needs Android
Why do people still ignore Android and go only,to iphone? It is n the only platform out there and they need to stop discriminating against Android.

Great analog results once you get the hang of a little digital editing
I am a huge fan of instant and analog film, so thanks to a post on Uncrate I decided to give this a try (I know, kind of an expensive impulse purchase). I received the lab SUPER quick thanks to my Prime account. My first impression - great package design, most creatives will agree little things such as packaging goes a long way to brand loyalty.Once I charged the internal battery, I ran 3 packs of PX70 film through the Instant Lab. I was happy with about 90% of the resulting prints. I shoot portraits so learning to pre-edit your digital file is key. For portraits, I tend to reduce the contrast as much as possible (turning whites to an almost grey tint) increase saturation to just where it becomes like a bad spray tan. Once the edited image is uploaded to my iPhone I select the preset from the Impossible Project App then follow the app direction. Once you get the hang of editing you will be much happier with this resulting print, especially since a pack of film runs about $24.00 for 8 images. My biggest issue with the Instant lab is the build quality. The instant lab feels a little cheap and I still have my doubts on how many years (or months) this unit will last for. I have to say I have not had any issues myself but I tend to be extremely cautious due to all the lightweight plastic used in this product. All in all, I am very happy and pleasantly surprised by TIP. I totally recommend the instant lab for those photographers looking to reconnect with analog while not giving up the flexibility of digital editing.

I would only advise purchasing this item thru Amazon.
I purchased this item thru the Impossible Projects website. The item received has an issue that crimps ever print. After dealing many times with the support line, I cleaned the item as instructed. However, this has not solved the issue. Their support response is horrible at best and after 6 weeks I'm still dealing with their subpar service. In the end, do not buy from them.
