Truly Easy Peasy!! 🤩
I am a complete beginner learning to play the guitar, I found it was written in a manner that was easy peasy 😉 to understand the complexities in learning to play the guitar in practice and in technical terms. Easy to read diagrams.A great book and also written by a fantastic guitarist. Well worth a purchase would definitely recommend to a friend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Good beginners guide
Recently started to learn guitar again after first trying around 20 years ago.Bought this book to help with some of the background and theory. In the past I used "Progressive Guitar Method", but I found this better laid out and more informative for me.Great for dipping in and out of when you need to double check your understanding of something.

At last a book that does what it says on the tin - brilliant!!
At last a book that is designed for new and improving guitarists, that explains guitar theory in a fun and easy to understand way. There are lots of tips and tricks and useful links included free too!I have bought so many guitar music books over the years and this is the only one that had me hooked from the first page, I learnt and understood more in an hour of reading this book than I had in many years of studying other books. The book is obviously written by someone that fully understands what it takes to be a great player, gets the problems that aspiring players come across and helps you to overcome the hurdles. Thank you Tiff I can’t wait for the next in the series.

If you want to make genuine progress in your guitar playing ability this book is for you
This book is simply outstanding if you want to improve your guitar playing ability and understanding of what it takes to improve,. This is the best book I've ever found and in a straightforward and down to earth style has helped me to break through that frustrating 'ceiling' I kept hitting in my own playing ability. It's thorough but clear in its explanations and along with the simple diagrams, help to clear up so many of the unanswered questions I had - there is a lot in here to support players of different standards too. This book shows that learning Music Theory doesn't have to be daunting but actually enjoyable. Definitely recommend.

Well balanced book
I’m like many wannabe Guitarists who are self taught to a level at which you find out just how difficult and involved learning the Guitar can be. I can strum along to some basic songs using Ultimate Guitar Tabs but never bother with the preamble covering the tuning and bpm etc. But fear not as this may be just the book to provide you with an understanding of how the guitar works in a simple well laid out format. I love the quiz element on each topic that helps to cement in the knowledge. If I can understand it anyone can, believe me.

A breath of fresh air in a bulging marketplace.
Great book, well written, easy to understand I have a lot of guitar books which are generally full of waffle and not to the point, you pick this up and work through it and its a eureka moment, the guitar jigsaw puzzle finally has a picture. Ive been noodling for 30 years never wanted to learn about theory (didnt see the need) as long as I can play a song then fine, but then I got inquisitive and wondered why and how these pieces of music fitted together and what makes it tick. This explained it for me perfectly.

This lives up to its title
I began learning guitar from scratch three years ago at the ripe old age of 65. I knew nothing, I didn't even know what I didn't know!!! My tutor insisted that we did theory alongside practice and the process she followed was just as this book. Some of it went over my head but over time has come to make sense. Seeing it written down like it is in this book has helped me no end. It is clear, it is concise and it makes sense. If you are a beginner I recommend this book. If you can play but don't know your theory start with this book
