Amazon Basics is Good Value for the Money
I subscribe to a computer-related blog written by an expert in the area of devices and how to use them; he recommended that people check out Amazon Basics because they are durable, functional, and comfortable to use.As advertised, the mouse arrived in good order. I opened the battery package, put them into the mouse, inserted the USB plug into my laptop and it worked from the very first, something that doesn't always happen for me. It's small enough for my hand to be comfortable using it, lightweight enough that it doesn't drag my arm along, and it works fine on my physical desktop, without a mousing pad. I will definitely use this brand again when it wears out or when I need other items for other devices.

This is an excellent mouse.
This mouse works perfectly.I don't know how long the battery will last as I've only had it for a few days, but it clicks perfectly. It feels good in the hand. And it doesn't skip. I think I'll be keeping this mouse for a long time.

Pleasantly surprised
It works as good as a razor. It's a good replacement for dropping my last mouse and breaking one of the buttons I needed a new one in a pinch and this was the best one I could find and I was surprised by how well it works

Affordable and works well for 9-12 months
My Amazon account purchase history shows that I have bought thirteen (13) of these mice since 2015, indicating that they last somewhere betwen 9-12 months on average. Some last longer, some less long (like the one I'm replacing now, only lasted 7 months). These all work fantastically but will eventually the wheel starts slipping and doesn't "ratchet" the internal mechanism anymore such that the computer's cursor/pointer doesn't move. Once this starts happening continued use of the mouse becomes ever more frustrating. I DO keep buying these because they work well, have an excellent feel to them, and are very affordable. Just don't expect this mouse to last more than roughly a year. YMMV, of course.

Works great!
I bought two, one for the PC and one for the laptop. Exactly what I wanted, nothing special, just completely functional.

The best basic mouse I've ever used
I got this mouse for my laptop and am doing schoolwork. I have my expensive gaming mouse, but it's not comfortable for daily use. I wasn't expecting much out of it, but for the price, I didn't mind. This has turned out to be the best basic wireless mouse I have ever had! I have small hands, and the size is perfect for me, but it seems like it would be fine for bigger hands, but definitely not large hands. I am very careful to turn off the mouse when not using it. After nearly six months, I am still using the original batteries. I have dropped it multiple times and it still works perfectly! I don't expect to need to replace this mouse anytime soon.

Great product
This is a repeat purchase . . . why? Because my cat finds it irresistible to toss it to the floor. Repeatedly. The identical last mouse lasted over 4 years despite being tossed about. Anyway, I highly recommend it. I dislike the keyboard thing-a-mah-gig to move the cursor. Instead, I mouse it. :)

Mostly a Really Good Mouse
This mouse connected perfectly, feels good, and even works seamlessly with my cordless keyboard, which of course uses a different dongle. I have only one small issue, but it's one I thought worth mentioning. While the buttons work normally when moving the cursor around the screen, when it comes to actually making a selection with the primary button (right- or left-handed, doesn't matter), one must press the button VERY deliberately and somewhat slower for the "click" to be recognized. A typical "quick click" at the speed one would normally use, say, when typing or normal "mousing" often will not register with the computer. The result is that I have to slow down and click again. In several decades of using a computer mouse I've never experienced this phenomenon. I've grown used to it, however, and adjusted to the necessity to give the selection button a slower and harder "press" when making selections, and that's all it takes. And oddly, it only requires this extra deliberate action when pressing a selection button. Not the biggest issue one could have, but I thought it worth mentioning. Other than that, no problems, and really, the price is very good, so as they say, you pays your money and you makes your choice. ;-)
