Batasa is a very popular sweet dish in Bengal. In the story of Rabindranath's good vision, there is a mention of bringing a marriage relationship with a lollipop in a brass rekabi. This sweet dish with a flat size of 2-4 cm in diameter is made from sugar or molasses. Quite popular with young children. Hindus of West Bengal and Bangladesh have been using batasa prasad since ancient times.
