Two years still going strong
Where to start? Three years ago I was diagnosed with Stage IV cancer luckily I had a complete response to my treatments. Un-luckily it left me with a whole host of auto-immune side effects not the least of which was what is known as Seronegative RA. I virtually lost the use of my hands due to contractures and inflammation in the joints and upper arm. First, reading other reviews I will admit that yes size could be a factor for many. I am a man but wear sized medium gloves (normally) but my hands were extensively swollen so when I first started using this I could not get my hand all the way in ... one work around ... I would slide in the normal side but only part way to focus on my mid-hand and palm region and then once that was done slide my fingers into the smaller side up about the second knuckle to work on the finger tips.Ironically I also work in orthopedic surgery and so I am well aware that upper extremities take a long long Long time to heal and rehabilitate. When I first started using it my hands hurt constantly and even to the touch but as one massage therapist pointed out, one of the most effective way to break up long term inflammation is with massage. Even with a whole range of anti-inflammatory meds (including prednisone) my daily average chronic pain as a 6-9 out of 10 and I had barely 10-15% of normal hand function. Even something as diminutive and using nail clippers caused immense pain in my finger tips. I began using this massager multiple times a day (still use it AM and PM) and Yes ... it did at first hurt but considering my overall situation pretty much All physical therapy caused some pain and discomfort. Fast forward to present day not only is this device still working and charging etc but I have had 90% at least of my normal hand function restored inflammation while not 100% resolved is gone to the extent that virtually all meds have been discontinued. Let me be clear on one thing ... I am NOT crediting all this relief to just using the CINCOM massager. I am NOT offering any form of medical advice. What I do think is that use of the is was just One part of a larger regimen of rehab including diet and exercise and yes even Rx drugs and the massager IMHO had a positive impact and played a role in my current restoration of hand function.

Sadly, this will not work for me
Good God, no. I have had fibromyalgia for about a decade. It's pressure sensitive. I was just diagnosed with RA on top of it. I also take blood thinners. This machine is painful. Like super painful. I ran this on my left hand for about 5 minutes and then went to the grocery store. My left hand did not hurt, my right hand (the untreated one) ached all the way up my arm, as usual. So I came home really excited to try this on my right hand for the full cycle and finish my left hand. It has a part of its cycle that bends your fingertips up from laying flat and backwards a little. This was the most painful part for me. It also is too much pressure, even on the lowest pressure, too hot on the lowest heat setting (it also just has two small circles on your palms that heat up) and the modes all do the backwards finger thing. Unfortunately, I don't think that this is going to work for me. If it were just ligaments or muscles that hurt, this might be fine. But if your actual joints are the issue I definitely do not recommend this. Also, this was so tight it blew a couple of veins on the back of my right hand. My knuckles are swollen and painful. I tried to run a different mode today to see if it was any better, but no. My left hand is so bruised from running it yesterday that it was excruciatingly painful today. I have heard that you can't return this, but considering how much it mangled my hands I am going to try. I suggest microwave heated mitts and cold packs instead, if you are trying to help with stiffness and pain with RA.

Perfect for Arthritis/Nerve Pain
This little hand massager is PERFECT for my hands. I have rheumatoid arthritis and nerve pain in my hands pretty often and the only thing that usually relieves it is massaging them (which is difficult to do on my own). I was super impressed with this little guy as soon as I first tried it. I love that it has multiple settings to use, depending on the kind of pain i'm having and the location on my hand. Love the 2 heat settings! Love that it has a 15 minute timer where it shuts off, because I can fall asleep with it on my hand. It really is the only thing that's helped me with my unbearable hand pain. Give it a try!

Do I have monster hands?!
I never thought I had particularly thick and meaty hands, but (as a woman) there was no way to insert my hands comfortably inside even before turning it on. I barely get a hand in far enough to let my thumb poke out the side, never mind fully extend as in the picture, and it was already extremely tight and uncomfortable. I can't imagine how this would work for the average guy, and yet I can only see one review with negative feedback on the size of the device. So either I have freakishly plump hands compared to the average user, or the critical reviews are being periodically cleaned up.Buyer beware!

nice little machine
It’s nice that it comes with a pouch and even 5 disposable gloves, I don’t think I’ll need the gloves, just bare hands, but if you have cream or stuff like that on your hands, better put the gloves on to keep it clean. one thing needs to be mentioned is that it only works unplugged, means can’t work while charging, so only can be used after charging. the massage it gave me was good, especially when the air bags squeezing my hand. It fits my hand perfectly and I’m a regular guy who’s 6 feet tall, I don’t think big hands would fit in there well. it’s pretty portable though, I can lay down or move around while my hand in there getting massage. all in all I’m happy with it.
