Dress is stunning! Absolutely gorgeous !!!! Size was perfect

I purchased this dress with pretty low expectations, because I am wearing it to a Harry Potter themed charity event and I wanted something Slytherin colors. I put it on my wishlist and looked at a few other affordable dresses, but I was also going to peruse some thrift store options. Then, this dress came up as a lightning deal for $10 less than it's already affordable price, and for less than $40, I figured that was nearly thrift store prices already for a formal gown so I'd better pull the trigger. When the dress arrived, it looked a little big but it was just because of the straight, 1920s style of the sparkly overlay part (so, just note that there is no waist sewn into to the shape of the dress, but rather more draped across the waist). When I tried it on, my hips provided the shape that you see in the picture, and the fit was perfect--not tight at all, but a size down would probably be snug, and it flows just as it should. This dress looks way fancier than the price---like prom, wedding, etc, worthy. I only wish I had prime back in HS so I wouldn't have spent $300+ on gowns for events. I will absolutely look for more from this company for any formal events I have, and the good news is if I lend this dress out I won't be worried about it holding up, etc, bc it was so inexpensive. I have spent more on dresses not at nice, for sure. Even consignment costs more!

I ordered two of these dresses, one in green size 10/12 and one in blue size 6/8 since so many reviews say it runs large. This dress definitely runs LARGE. I'd love to give this beautiful dress 5 stars since it is feels well-made and is quite flattering on a curvy figure, but I docked it a star for a few reasons. For reference, I'm 5'8" 200lbs and my measurements are 40-34-44. Green size 10/12 - this seems to fit more like a standard US size 14 in my experience. It easily slid over my head without having to touch the zipper (which is probably a good thing as the zipper seems a bit flimsy) and there is extra material that bunches up at the sides and in the back unless I keep pulling it down to smooth it out. The green color is gorgeous though, and my pictures don't really do it justice. The length is good for me, it falls just past my ankles in bare feet. With heels it might feel a bit short, but fortunately I don't like to wear heels. Blue size 6/8 - this seems to fit like a standard US size 10. I also didn't need to use the zipper to pull this over my head. The fit is much better for me, although I was very disappointed with the color. I thought I'd accidentally received a black dress when I first opened it, but it is in fact a very dark navy blue. The pictures on Amazon had me expecting a more vibrant blue for some reason. The length is about a half inch shorter than the 10/12 size. All in all it's still a beautiful dress, and I'm a bit torn on which one to return. I may keep both! No discount or freebies received here, I pay full price for my stuff. Hope this was helpful!

First let me say I absolutely love this dress. It's gorgeous. Bought it for an upcoming cruise and can't wait to play dress up. Ordered Jan 11th, rcvd Jan 19th. Now for some details. I typically wear an 18-20 more so 20. Chest 40D I ordered the XXL as they suggested. The dress fits wonderfully. I don't even have to unzip it to put it on. It slides right down. It does take a minute to shimmy the slip down, then adjust the layer on top of that, then adjust the beaded part as that slips right over the bum. The dress is sheer so I added a slip so I didn't feel so naked. The armpits of the dress are perfect as there's no hanging or bunching material (I hate that drooping look). The chest area although it's stretchy material I felt like the girls are packed in. Not uncomfortably packed, just in there firmly. The length, I'm 5'4 and it just touches the floor. I put on 1inch heels just to see how it looked and again perfect. Flats could work but with such an elegant dress you need a shoe that dazzles it even more. (I'm sure 3inch heels would be better but not for this girl lol) The detail is incredible. All the beads, and the time they put into the dress is amazing. I did have one bead fall already but I expected that to happen as I was twirling like a little princess in my dress. So what's the down side. As far as I can tell for me just one. It has to do with all the beads. I noticed my arms rubbing up against them. I'm thinking my arms may start to get irritated. Its rough almost like scratching. So I've decided I will just keep my arms posed to my hips all nite. lol. Hope this little review helps. A few pics for ya below.

This dress was a last minute buy for a quick Las Vegas wedding for my 73 yo mother in law, and the dress is stunning. Very 1920s vintage so perfect for my mother in law who loves vintage. It’s stretchy so it can fit a lot of different body shapes. Length is altered. Bride is approx. 4’ 10” with 2 inch heels. Took off 6 inches. Easy to alter. Couldn’t be happier. This dress, hair, and makeup and you have an very elegant bride. She received a lot of compliments! Thank you to the makers/sellers of this dress for making her day amazing. Highly recommend! The price point is perfect! The quality is perfect!

Its beautiful! Im 160 lbs. 38-33-44 5'6" Size fit great. Zipped up over boobs and hips! Lots of layers on bottom and has a slip to knees! Its really pretty! And fits great. Just measure yourself! Dont guess! Use the chart! Nicely made!!

Ich war erst etwas skeptisch ob die Bewertungen stimmen, aber ich muß sagen, daß ich ebenfalls begeister war als das Kleid schon nach 2 Tagen kam. Sieht sehr hochwertig aus und das dunkle grün wirkt sehr edel. Bin 165 cm groß und 56 kg habe S 36/38 genommen und passt perfekt. Die Länge ist mir persönlich ein bißchen zu lang trotz hoher Schuhe.. Es würde zwar gehen, reicht bis zum Boden, aber ich möchte beim laufen nicht ständig das Kleid hochheben oder den Boden putzen drum lasse ich es von einer Schneiderin ein paar cm kürzen. Aber wer es gerne ganz lang hat passt es perfekt. Es sind leider keine Cups eingearbeitet, was ich schade finde, da man dann trotzdem einen BH tragen muß (75B)

Wow! What a gorgeous dress! It looks beautiful and elegant on and fits well without being too clingy.I love the net underlay which drapes beautifullyand shows just a hint of leg! The beading looks expensive and is well finished. the skirt is long and at 5ft 8 i will need to wear heels to avoid treading on the skirt but it could easily be altered if you are of shorter stature. I can't wait to wear it to my ball!

con il titolo ho già detto molto. Calza perfettamente, non comprate una taglia in più non serve. sono 1.63 per 60 kg coppa seno tra C e D ed ho comprato una 40/42 (di solito compro M o 42/44. E' perfetto, proprio come in figura. Sono andata dalla sarta per eventuale consiglio, ma nulla era da modificare. Le paillettes donano luminosità senza essere stucchevoli ed a contrasto con il nero del sottovestito che si appoggia a terra con abbondanza, fa un figurone da non credersi. ....mi raccomando....tacchi a spillo! Un particolare ringraziamento all'operatrice del servizio clienti che è stata esaustiva a tute le mie domante con estrema gentilezza.

Me daba un poco de miedo por eso de no poder probármelo. Por el precio que tiene, me parecía que no sería muy bueno pero animada por las opiniones, lo compré. Me ha llegado antes de lo previsto y tengo que decir que el vestido es espectacular!!! Estoy súper contenta porque al tener talla grande, me resulta complicado encontrar vestidos de fiesta BBB (bueno, bonito, barato) y os aseguro que este es un BBB en toda regla. Es cierto que el tejido no ea muy duro y marca pero estiliza mucho. Si lo acompañas de un body, queda ideal. Para mi ha sido todo un acierto. Uso una 46/48 de pantalón y pedí el vestido de la talla 50-52. Estupendo. Quizá una talla menos también pero seguro que marca más así que no lo cambio. Este me viene perfecto!
