I bought two of these (two pets) two weeks ago and they have exceeded expectations. The design is simple which makes for reliable performance. I’ll address a couple issues mentioned in other reviews:One portion equals 1/16th cup of kibble. You can program the app to dispense multiple portions at once. The machine handles the larger size cat kibble with no problems.Setup: Fast and easy. The app is free and super simple. The app allows you to sync multiple feeders and control them individually. During setup, the machines only connect to 2.4 wifi, not 5. If your smartphone is connected to 5 at home you must “forget” your 5 wifi connection and then reconnect to your 2.4 wifi band. This will allow you to connect the app to the feeder(s). Once you’ve completed setup you can reconnect your phone to the 5 wifi band and it will still maintain its connection to the feeder(s). Just the initial setup has to be on 2.4 wifi.Overall, I am very happy with these machines and highly recommend them.

This was very easy to set up, and it works quietly enough that it didn’t spooky my scaredy cat. The voice announce feature is extremely low volume, makes less noise than the food hitting the dish, but it at least gives your pet a warning before they get food dumped in their face if they happen to be eating when feeding time comes. The portion size options are very flexible even with cat food (1/4th of a cup was a serving size of 5). But serving sizes weren’t exactly equivalent, so 3 feedings of 5 got us to 3/4 cup but when I split into 4 feedings I needed 3 of size 3 plus 1 of size 4 to get to 3/4 cup. That may be because we mix two different dry foods but it’s something to double check. I really like the feed button on the front for dispensing just one portion between feedings for when your cat has empty bowl anxiety but doesn’t actually need or want a full size feeding. I didn’t think my cat would like the bowl because it’s so big compared to what she’s used to (because she has empty bowl anxiety and acts like she’s starving to death any time she can see any bit of the bottom) but so far she’s been ok with it. Unit was also easy to disassemble for cleaning and isn’t too big (slightly larger footprint than her water fountain). The bin should hold about three weeks of cat food for us so that’s also convenient.

I bought 2 in Oct. 2021 and they are still working great!! My cats took to them right away without issue. It is actually really funny when it goes off they go running to eat. My one cat knows the schedule by heart and waits patiently by it.

Once I got it connected and set up it was fine. The app was self explanatory to feed & set up schedule. Very basic, not many features. We used this a few weeks before we left on vacation to see how our dog worked with it. First few days of feedings seemed to work fine as we were measuring each output, all were pretty close for the most part, but we did notice that the portions seemed inconsistent in the feedings as we continued to use it. They are small portions anyway, but sometimes we had to add a few extra servings. That would have been ok to work with, but on like day 3 or 4 the dog would try to get food out, and in the process he would hit the feed button and out came a treat for him! Needless to say, he figured it out. If only there was a lock on the buttons or they were located elsewhere on the device. We ended up getting a different feeder with a camera. It was very easy to clean & we like the silver bowl it came with.

I adopted a cat a month before going on vacation. My grand offered to cat sit. This auto feeder was great! We coordinated the App and my WiFi on our phones and set a feeding schedule in case she couldn’t get to my house. We were able to track feedings on our phones (me in AZ) and could program additional feedings as needed and I could see when she was fed. Ally heard my voice and the food dropping and ran for it! While I’m home, I feed her wet food, but this was a lifesaver.

The feeder looks nice and worked as advertised for a couple of weeks but has just stopped working in the past couple of days. Unfortunately for us, the return window closed 10/10/2021, and today is the 18th of October - we had the feeder just a few days over a month.It worked well initially, but a couple of weeks in, I started noticing it would do random feedings throughout the day. So if it were scheduled to dispense food at noon, it would do it again about 30 minutes later. So I did a factory reset, which seemed to work for a bit, but it started doing it again a couple of weeks later.On 10/15/2021, just five days after the return window closed, it stopped working altogether. It wouldn't dispense food anymore when it was scheduled, and I am 100% of this because I work from home to hear it when it would dispense. So I did another factory reset to see if it would resolve the issue, but now when it dispenses food, it empties the storage compartment until all of the food is everywhere but the bowl.I tried to do one more reset, and now it won't even connect. So now I'm stuck with a $70.00 food bowl that I have to put food into manually.

Overall this is a pretty good automatic pet feeder. It meets almost all my requirements:1. The food tank and bowl is pretty easy to clean. I bought another pet feeder several months ago but the food bowl can’t be taken off easily, and it was plastic. My cats were getting black chins because of that. But the bowl of this pet feeder is stainless and can be easily taken off and clean after each meal. The food tank can also be detached and washed by soap.2. The phone app schedule allows me to set different schedules for different week days. Usually I skip the auto schedule for breakfasts on weekdays and only enable it on weekends since I feed them canned food before work but would like to sleep in on weekends3. The food tank is large enough!Cons:1. There is no camera. It’s better that if there is camera and motion sensor to take videos so that you can see the cats when you are not at home2. No mic either. But you get what you paid for I’m pretty happy with the current functionalities
