This is my first time eating Sauerkraut owing to a stomach ulcer. The aroma that filed the kitchen upon opening the jar is heavenly. Strong taste initially but I am more accustomed to it now. Feels fresh and healthy. Came well wrapped and without leakage, thank you for the care and advice that came with the box, for opening over the sink and the warning about how the product 'behaves'. Lovely company, exceptional product, happy happy customer! :)

Delicious! I really like the texture as well, the cabbage is cut nice and fine so its not as ‘tough’ as other sauerkraut brands I’ve tried. My favourite unpasteurised sauerkraut so far...

I wanted to make this myself, but didn't know what it smelled like when it was properly fermented and I had never tasted it before. It tasted really good, as if pickled (but not) and the taste of cabbage really comes through. At first I wasn't sure, but it really grew on me. I shall keep buying until I make my successful batch at home.

After reading an article about how beneficial sauerkraut is for gut health I decided to buy a jar from a supermarket which was OK but a bit dry and then I noticed this product on Amazon and that it had a Good Taste Award so I bought it. It arrived very quickly and very securely packed. Immediately on opening the jar I could see it was so much different from the shop bought one and the taste was absolutely divine. Unlike supermarket sauerkraut which is pasteurised and sterile, so no good bacteria, this one is unpasteurised with vital vitamins and minerals. It really is a case of getting what you pay for so if you care about your gut don't waste your money on a cheap supermarket brand.

Delicious authentic sauerkraut! After having multiple intolerances for a couple of years I have a very restricted diet, not even being able to tolerate vegetables or pro/prebiotics. I have quite severe reactions when I reintroduce food so I tried just 2 teaspoons of this amazing sauerkraut a day for a week not knowing how it would affect me. I am delighted to say not only have I kept it down, it has made my body feel alive again! Also it is so tasty I could easily eat the whole jar haha! Thank you so much!!

I thought I'd give this sauerkraut a try, although thinking it's quite expensive.This 'kraut is delicious, crunchy, zingy, beautifully shredded and nothing like the pasteurised products of supermarkets. Also, the actual quantity is greater than I expected. After trying the 'kraut I think the price is fair and the product exceptional.Arrived in a timely manner and very well packaged.

Not only did it arrive a day earlier than predicted but it was just in time for lunch. It's a crunchy, tangy, fresh tasting sauerkraut, a world away from the ghastly stuff in most supermarkets. I fully recommend this treat. Good for your tastebuds and extra good for your gut flora that good health relies on.

I started buying this because I wanted to start eating food that would benefit my gut flora. I lived in Germany for many years and they would always tell me how healthy sauerkraut was ... I really liked it too. I would never compare the price of this product with supermarket suaerkraut because it is just not the same product, or anywhere close to it. That would be like comparing a glass of milk with a glass of wine! The supermarket brands do not have the live bacteria. I have tried other brands of fermented sauerkraut but this is by the the best, I love the taste. I did try to make my own about a year ago but that idea went in the bin ... together with the sauerkraut. So will always buy from this company now. I have just ordered the Kimchi of which I am yet to try.
