Perfect part. Hard to install. Make sure to watch the video on YouTube on how to change out. I got it done but wasn’t easy.

Very pleased
Obviously OE will always be better than aftermarket in many different cases. This to me felt like one of them. Was a bit of a task to install, but YouTube always helps with that. Worth the money if the part is needing replacement

Tie a wire and fish new one through
Works as it’s intended, and has loctite on the threads as a bonus. 2016 Chevy Silverado you still have to take the passenger fuse panel off as well as the speaker dash against the windshield. Use a wire to fish a line through to pull your new one through. Have two people and use electrical tape but not too much so you can make the tight corner of the firewall. You want to make sure it can bend at the connector easily.

OEM GM part. Install tricky but not impossible.
It's an OEM part, so it works. The install isn't as bad as it seems or some people make it to be. Need to remove both A pillar trim pieces, then dash speaker covers, then fuse block cover on passenger side of dash. After that its easy to get at the old cable. Disconnect it and tie/tape thin rope to it so you can pull the old cable out from under the hood. Then tape string to the new cable and pull it back in reverse. It makes the job much easier.

Very hard install.
Very hard to install without taking off passenger side quarter panel. No space for hands, need to rip out rubber plug out of fire wall and figure out how to get other one in. Use string when removing then reattach on new one to pull through. Need to remove 6 or 7 cabin trim pieces to do the job.

Doesn't work without adapter
It needs an adapter with it. We had to order a completely different antennae set.
