Dacor PCOR30S Professional Style Microwave, Stainless-Steel

The handle on our high end over the stove microwave broke four times. Worst design ever but no recall. Tired of paying for handles and service calls. Took ours down and installed the Dacor which has no handle! :)Looks great and appears high quality. Manuals and instructions are great. Plug and play replacement with all the necessary mounting brackets and hardware.Our other microwave was more expensive and we loved it but I could not deal with another handle breaking.This Dacor is great quality, has lots of great features, looks and works great so far and has no handle! Did I mention it for right in the existing space and doesn't have a handle that will break every 6 months!Very pleased with the TouchPad, intuitive layout and many features including being a convection oven and having a high and low rack.This microwave is a perfect complement to our existing kitchen and appliances and will allow me to keep my sanity. No more broken handles and service calls!Came with a really nice convection oven cook book to help us learn how to use it as an oven while making great dishes.Very happy with the quality, looks, features and price point.

Door much lighter than previous model. Springs open in your face.Door very noisy upon closing. Wakes up guests upstairs. Consider soft close feature.

Perfect replacement for the one we used for 13 years

I used this unit for its microware and smoke hood functions. But the unit died right after its 1-year warranty period expired. Everything looks normal, except that it now makes a loud humming noise when you press the start button and it will not heat any food at any setting. While it is possible that the malfunction might be caused by a busted diode (a common cause of malfunction for microwaves), replacing that part will involve the removal of the whole unit from the kitchen wall since that diode appears to be way inside the microwave enclosure. That will be a big job and would require at least 2 people. Had the manufacturer made that diode (and/or the magnetron) accessible from the front without having to remove the unit from the wall, it would have been a different story. But at its present state, the unit will have to be removed from the wall. However, I am not getting it repaired anymore and will just buy a dedicated smoke hood, plus a small counter-tup microwave oven. I am no longer keen on fixing this huge microwave oven and risk another malfunction (like the magnetron) in the near future that will cause another major repair job.

My first Dacor microwave performed flawless for 18 yrs. This is a replacement and is the exact same model. So removal and replacement was a walk in the park. Microwave packaging was perfect as it arrived with. Out any damage.

Bought this unit through another site. So far unit acceptable but it came missing two screws from it's installation kit. Dacor no help whatsoever

This item was to replace the same model I bought 10 years ago. I’m getting ready to sell my home so I wanted to have a new one in place. I have a Dacor range also that I love.

Have only had a short time and just used once. The convection oven did not cook like my electric oven. My electric oven made pizza in a relatively short time. This convection oven took twice as long, and the crust was still soggy. Oven unit smelled terrible; maybe because it is brand new. I'll give another review as I use it more. Hope it works out better. It's a lot of money to spend for an item that does not cook very well.I have a convection toaster oven that also works much better.
