Worked great for a dryer duct.

The tape arrived as described with no issues I bought the tape to use to cover holes at the bottom of my HVAC unit to keep critters from getting into my crawl space and to secure ducting to vents I replaced. It has worked great, and held up, wonderfully even in the rain. It is also handy for any unexpected duct repairs.The tape is a quality product made by 3M that has good thickness and adhesion. I have no complaints as it met my expectations. I would recommend this product to others.

I've used other brands of metal HVAC tape before that were much easier to use. This one has good strong adhesive, but it's real thin so when you pull the paper backing off, the aluminum tape part actually wants to curl up on you really quickly and badly. It sticks to itself and makes a mess. I had to throw some away as a result = waste. I finally learned the trick was to just pull the paper back as you lay it down.So it's usable, but it's a bigger pain than other brands I've used before. I think maybe the other ones I used had adhesive but it was just like duct tape - already on it and you rolled it out as used. I don't remember the paper backing step before.

I recently was made aware of a situation going on with my duct system and instead of replacing the duct system I opted to try this HVAC tape first. I was assured by my son who is an HVAC technician, said that the quality and quantity as well as the use of the tape all went smoothly.I recommend it.

Used this stuff to seal up some air leaks around the house HVAC system. Since I had so much left over I also used it to partially seal up some of the radiator opening on my car to get a little better aerodynamics and then also seal up the area around the radiator so anything that goes through the front grill has to go to the radiator and not bypass it.Multiple 80-100mph 4 hour road trips and this stuff is still hanging on just fine. whatever kind of stick goop they put in on this tape is going to take an act of god to get it off my car if that time ever comes, but till then this stuff is doing exactly what it's supposed to.

Used this along with insulation wrap, as others did, to wrap the output hose of a portable air conditioner. Until I did this, the device was pretty much useless because the hose radiated so much heat that it negated the effect of the air conditioner.Fastened the insulation in-place with this tape. Working just great! NOW the air conditioner actually COOLS the space!I did not rate "easy to remove" because it's not intended to be removed easily. It can probably be removed fairly easily however, depending upon what you stick it to, but I didn't rate this.

But the price has nearly doubled over the last year, nothing against the product, but it's worth looking around at the price it's at now, the rating is for the product itself, not the value.
