Great consistant product
When I first got my espresso machine and small roaster 3 years ago i experimented with many different brands of unroasted beans. I kept a coffee diary and sent home roasted coffee to the west coasts to my daughters as gifts. Life is busy and I soon settled on this brand and have used it ever since. No more experiments. Just good espresso every time with a consistent roast and grind. My Seattle and California families agree and they can buy good roasted coffee locally. Finally last year I told them I got through Amazon or direct from company and they were shocked

Superb coffee choice
If you like coffee from Guatemala you will absolutely love this single source bean. Full body with awesome undertones of chocolate. Personally I like this roasted dark and pulled when it's into its second crack just as the bean begins to shine with oil. I have paid more for a bean of less quality. 5 ⭐

Smooth coffee but lacked flavor
After roasting these beans with my typical hot air popcorn popper, I was a little disappointed that the flavors that I come to expect from many Central American coffees, wasn't there. I don't know if, like a fine wine, it was just a bad year for this particular crop. It could have been my roasting but I've made some very good batches before with my method. I wish I knew for sure. Very quaffable (thanks Sideways :^) ) as it was quite smooth, but I was hoping for more.

Best beans IF roasted correctly
The media could not be loaded. The Guatemala beans from this company is out of the world. I use Fresh Roast SR-800 roaster with Razzo Roasting 12 inch Chamber instead of the tock chamber. It takes about 9 minutes to reach medium roast. Beans are very good quality and they roast very evenly. To grind the beans, I use a hand grinder (ZPresso K Plus) and Areopress to brew the coffee. I get the best cup of coffee and every night I look forward to morning to brew a cup. It has chocolate notes and a very nice flavor. No bitterness at all.

Roasts up really nice
First off, this seller is really prompt. This was my second order and both times came a day or two early. I am rather new to roasting and this is one of the first that I have tried, and one of the best. Can't go wrong with this one.

Excellent product!
We have tried several green coffees but this one is the best by far. We appreciate the “farmer to table” feature and the consistent high grade quality. For the price, this is a great value. We roast our own coffee at home (Whirley-Pop method) to a light (“blonde “) roast and love the subtle chocolate and caramel notes with no bitterness.

GREAT! My new go-to bean!
I’ve roasted for about a year now and have tried 6 different suppliers. This is my favorite and I’ve ordered almost 50lbs now. ALL were consistently great. I roast with an SR800 and roast to medium or city roast - ~2 min past 1st crack. Great chocolaty buttery taste. Smells delish! Recently in the hospital, I had to order a light roast at a lobby Starbucks. I just have to say … mine was better! ;)
