Great purifier
I love this one, I have used this brand for years, when I had to replace it due to age, I tried a different one, which broke down right after the warranty. So I went back to this brand, one reason I never had issues, in addition this purifier works great. You have also improved it even more. Couldn’t be more satisfied.

Clean air
Well, it's still early, but it seems it working. Ozone has a unique smell. My Cpap cleaner also smells that way so you know its working. So far so good!!

Dependable machine that does a great job.
My lungs are not healthy and I need to breathe clean air. I have had this same unit since 2015 when I first got sick. It is still working like new and it’s on 24/7. We ordered a second one as a back upjust in case the original one finally gives up.

compared in two smoke filled rooms by mistake - this is worth the money
I bought 2 of these two years ago but only yesterday realized how amazing they are. My city is impacted by smoke from wildfires right now (which it was when I purchased these). Yesterday I woke up and my entire apartment smelled like a campfire and my asthma was terrible. I checked my PulseOx and it was 93% - not great!I closed up the windows turned the fan speed on the unit in my living room to high but shut the bedroom door and neglected to increase the fan speed on that one. I did not think they would do much because I realized that I am way late at replacing the filters and ordered more to come today. So all of what you read below is with filters that were replaced almost a year ago.About 9pm I was in the living room and my PulseOx was at 97% - much better. My living room smelled faintly like smoke but not bad. I opened the bedroom door and it was like walking into a Vegas casino, the smell of smoke was overwhelming. I had no idea how much impact the unit in the living room was making until that moment. I cranked up the fan speed on the bedroom unit and shut the door thinking I'd have to sleep in the living room. I woke up on the couch about 1am and decided to check the bedroom and it was dramatically improved to the point that, even with my asthma, I felt like it was OK to go sleep in my bed. It was, my oxygen level was a 98% this morning.Had I never accidentally compared rooms against each other I would not have known just how amazing this purifier is. Yah, its a bit more money than the ones I used to have, but it is well worth it.

EXTREMELY Effective
I have spent 30 years in the HVAC business. We are focused often on indoor air quality. This is what I do for a living and I have no association with this manufacturer. This filter is shockingly effective at removing odors in my 2200 sq ft house. After an hour in the small room I keep the litter boxes for my 3 cats which had previously had a strong cat urine odor, it smelled 100% neutral. Rooms that are mostly closed during the winter and get musty experienced the same effect. it weighs only a few pounds and is easily moved room to room. After about 3 months I changed the very clogged filter for a carbon one and it's every bit as effective. This filter works for me even better than advertised. I wish I'd discovered it a decade ago.

Nice, but a bit pricey
Runs very quiet. You get so used to it you don't even know it's running. I thought it was about $50+ too much, but I did not want a cheap one either. It seems to clear the air fairly well, and the home does smell a bit fresher. The replacement filters (I think) are way to expensive, they are 1/3 the cost of the entire unit. They say they last for 9 months, but after a month of use (winter time), I can't see them working for 9 months? With that said, you can find cheaper ones out there, but you get what you pay for? Like everything else nowadays, the quality is going down and the price is going up. Would I buy it again? I think I would, but time will tell me for sure.

Costs more - but SO worth it!
I wrote the most glowing review I think I've ever posted on the first Alen BreatheSmart Classic unit I bought 2 yrs ago for my main living area. To get that unit and 3 additional filters took a grand out of the pocket. But up here in PNW the wild fires during summers are just fact of life, now and bother my asthma so bad now. I'd bought 3 less powerful/expensive brands in previous years that just weren't cutting it. So I bit the bullet. And, that one has more than paid for itself. With regular vacuuming clear the prefilter I've gotten a year out of each filter. - I bought this smaller T500 model to go in my office space which is at far end from the main area and away from the Classic unit. Going to agree with some reviews I've seen for this one - yes, it is louder than the larger unit, yes it seems to blow out cool air. But, I'll take a bit of noise with something that WORKS beautifully any day. And, I can set this away from ever directing the air at me when working, so that's a non issue for me. I am just tickled pleased knowing these 'investments' in keeping clean air in my home are doing the job and not just taking real estate in the room. All thumbs up. It is a winner.
