I have Bosch and Samsung washing machines and all wash great, but none of them surprises me like an LG one, when I observe its wash cycle! Probably because of the lack of a belt, the LG program seems to be using a continuously variable spin pattern, changing spin direction instantaneously, taking you by surprise. It also has a feature that uses the existing water in the drum and injects it back into the clothes, from various angles, it looks cool! Locking and unlocking of the door, as well as water inlet, have an industrial click noise, which I guess it is a good thing, it is like a heavy duty relay switch. The Direct Drive motor is indeed super smooth and torquey, but that aspect should not be confused with the actual spinning vibrations. As I have suspended floorboards, I made use of the rubber shoes and it is quite acceptable, no moving around, softer vibration. I do restrict the max spin to 800 though to preserve the washing machine's life, plus I don't like the way clothes feel when on high speed spins on any washing machine. Cleans the clothes very well, so far I am very pleased!

I love the 14 minute wash can get through lots of washing still cleans fantastic had my last lg washer for 12 years i love lg products. Plays a tune when its finished so thats handy.
