My stove-top coils started to rust after about 10-15 years of usage, so I checked online to see if I could find a matching set. These are not too common so I expected I would have to do some looking but discovered that Amazon, like most other things, has a good repository of products. I purchased the 5-coil plug-in range element, which works great.It is a dark grey color but still very close to the original, and comes with the "decorative" metal circle in the center which is obviously to ensure your pots stay in place. It is well made and I have been using it for a few years now without any issue and obtained more replacement ones for my older elements as they "flamed out" so to speak!My only complaint is that since it's not exactly 100% the same size as the oem version, sometimes i will have to push the element into the housing a bit to ensure that it maintains the temperature. However, that is rare and only happens when a pot is dropped on the stove and dislodges it a little bit. But that's a minor concern and the range works fantastically otherwise.To install, just pull out the metal coils at the end from where they plug into your range, then pop this bad boy into place, and settle it in the housing, ensuring the 3 small metal tips on the ends rest on the outside of the bowl of the stove-top. Turn on the range and make sure it works, then cook yourself some grits. Yum!

Took several tries but finally found these parts that fit and provide a level surface for cooking. Both the drip pans and heating elements work together (I learned the hard way). Glad I found these part!

This fits my old Magic Chef electric range & works well. I do have an issue with rocking - does wobble a bit even though it is positioned correctly. The element has slightly rounded curls - not completely flat like my old ones. It does have 5 rings which was important to me for higher watts & it does have circular ends (not flat) that connect to the stove plug - also important. And the price was wonderful & it was shipped free. This same device at Home Depot (saw this 4/24/2015) was $25 to $29.00 depending on brand. As I intend to use this front large burner for canning, I may switch it with the back flat ring element. Also saw these at Kroger for more money in 4 ring. More power is better, replace what your stove came with or find out if your plug can take a five ring over a 4 ring.Photo: it was not entirely clear if this was a circular connection or flat. A close-up of that part should be mandatory on all the elements for sale.

This is a hard to find item because it has 5 turns of the coils, rather than the more common 4 turns. Perfect replacement for my Amana range that is older dating to about the year 2000.

I bought one of these to replace a broken one for a tenant's range. I originally went to the local hardware store, but they were out of stock on these. I am glad, because this one was 1/3 of the price and works great.A few tips when you order these:1. If a burner goes dead, it can be the coil, the switch, socket, or a disruption in the electrical supply. You can test for a simple faulty coil by switching the coil with another burner on the stove. If the other coil works, go ahead and order a new coil. Otherwise, you are going to have to get an electrical tester to see where the electricity supply problem is.2. Compare the picture of the plug on this to your coil. They are not universal. A few brands have a different style plug.

Our houseguest accidentally melted a potato chip bag over one of our Whirlpool stove coils. The plastic was basically fused to the coil and would not come off.Rather than take a risk of burning the remnants of the bag off the coil and potentially starting a fire or breathing in the chemicals, I decided to replace it. I found this option and took a chance ordering it. It arrived a few days later and was easily installed.The two prongs of our old coil were at a slight angle to the ends and though these were straight, I could bend these the few degrees needed. I installed the coil and turned the burner up to high. It easily heated up and since then, has been a great replacement. It's a slightly different color than our others, but I believe that is due to age.

When received, EVERYTHING plugged in perfectly and the alignment and leveling/positioning of the burner element was very easy. At the same time, I ordered this element, I ordered the Whirlpool Stove 8-inch Surface Burner Element 9761345/8053268 to see which one was better (I needed 2). The Range Kleen 7381 Replacement Plug-in Range Element fit perfectly and cost less than the Whirlpool Stove 8-inch Surface Burner Element 9761345/8053268. On the Whirlpool Stove 8-inch Surface Burner Element 9761345/8053268, the support arms were not aligned properly. I had to bend them to correct position and the inner support arm that holds the support arms to the burner element (toward the center) had to be slid along the element to bring the center button and other arms to correct position. This alignment did NOT have to be done on this Range Kleen 7381 so I'm giving it a 5.

My local repairman couldn't offer me any options except the expensive manufacturers replacement burner, so I thought I'd take a chance and check on here. Didn't know whether or not this burner was compatible with my stove, so I sent an e-mail to the seller. Not only did he reply immediately, but he checked and verified on the compatibility and all other questions I asked. I give the guy an A+ on that alone. He saved me money I couldn't afford to spend and has enabled us to cook decent meals again without spending a fortune. Burner works great, just runs a tad bit hot on one of my stove settings, but that could be the stove itself. I'd definitely recommend going with this company for their products. They'll get you what you need if they can find it.

It fitted perfectly in my Kenmore stove, the price was reasonable.

Its a good coil, works perfectly without any problem.
