Very high quality as always with hansgrohe. Absolutely lovely style as well. The thermostat and dial feel heavy and precise, so you know you're dealing with German quality. No restriction on water flow and the temperature is easily adjusted (get a cheap food thermometer and use that). To note, there seems to be a coating on the metal which means you can easily wipe limescale off with your fingers! So you can say bye to harsh chemicals. The only thing I'd say is that if not in use a lot, then the limescale buildup on the rain shower means the streams go everywhere. You'll need to rub those little outlets with your fingers a few times to clear them after a few days of no use (hence the -1 star). Installation is very easy, no finicky pieces etc. so if you know how to screw a nut and drill a hole with a diamond bit through tile (get a good drill bit and you'll never break a tile), then by all means it's very doable.

I bought a hansgrohe tap and shower set as I wanted to install a new bathroom without the need to buy adaptors for the plumbing as for the Grohe products. The tap was fine, decent like Grohe, however the shower seems tacky, plastic and when installed by a professional it had a wobble in the shower rail that he could not solve without adhesive. Really disappointed, you expect great quality from a German firm, this was not one of them. In hindsight I should’ve bought the Grohe shower and used the S1 glue instead of drilling in to the tiles.
