The media could not be loaded.  The heating pad is great. It needs a little bit of time to heat all stones up but it’s quick. About 4min to 50C and around 10-11min to 70C .My wife use it most of the time for her back pain but sometimes wraps around her belly for the same reason to heat up her liver and abdomen as well. She use it on 45-50 C for 30-120 min before going to bed. You can go up to 70 C if you wish. Don’t worry because it won’t burn your skin like a 70C water would do. The stones doesn’t heat up that high actually. For example I can use it for 15min on the maximum 70C setting directly on my skin. After 10min you start sweating like you are in a wet sauna. It all depends on how much heat your body can tolerate and how much time you have. It might be too big for your arms but definitely good for your legs and perfect for your upper body.It works great for sore muscle and back pain after a long day work. Also great detox therapy as well. My body responds every time when I use it. My stomach and belly growling and I can feel movement in my abdomen. You can release a lot of toxins through your skin and your drainage pathways if your circulation and your limp nodes are stimulated. I used to do lot of painting work and did lots of soldering with lead so naturopaths suggested regular infra sauna therapies for detoxification. I built an infra sauna in my spare bedroom which I use regularly but sometimes you just want to lay down and watch a movie. I don’t know how efficient is this heating pad compared to a proper infra sauna, but I know it works because my body responds the same way and you get the same refreshing result as well.

Words just cannot explain how healing this type of therapy is!! I started with the lower back wrap for my husband and ended up using it for my own upper/ mid back pain but because of its size I had to keep moving it around so I bought the large pad for myself and my back pain just dissappears. I literally sit on it every night when I settle into my favorite chair. I find it helps with chest colds and coughs...Ive used it for knee pain...pain just disappears when I use it for a few hours. Its truly amazing and I can't believe that I never heard of this type of therapy. Every doctors office should promote their use! The stones are IMPORTANT. I tried another brand that had a style I liked but it lacked the stones and it was no different that your general heating pad that can be purchased at a pharmacy....that one went back to the seller. The large flat pad is great for laying on, wrapping around knees (although if I had a chronic knee problem I would definitely purchase the one designed for the knee). While they are somewhat flexible they aren't super flexible because of the nature of the product and the stones. Hence I purchased the one designed specifically for the neck because I feel it helps beat colds and flu bugs that start in the throat and glands. I wish there was one designed to cover the neck, shoulder and entire upper and mid back and chest! The heat from this is DEEP and soothing. Shoot, I turn it on even when I don't have any pain just because it is so freakishly comforting! When I have a cold I take it to bed with me and either lay on top of it or place it on my chest for a cough. I swear I get better significantly faster and my cough is totally diminished! My honest opinion is that these pads are miraculously healing for everything that ails! I use the large one every single day and sometimes more than once a day...just when ever I sit down it goes on. They are very well designed and made with very high quality materials. These pads are STURDY!

The media could not be loaded.  The pad arrived quickly and was as described!On first look it is thicker and “plusher” then I expected, well made with all connections etc and a specific utk controller rather then generic ones elsewhere.The pad heats up quickly and works really well, I’ve used other heat pads and electric blankets and they take an age to warm up and don’t reach the heat this does. It’s great.I have had back pain all my life and have serious imbalances in my muscles. All though I do exercises every day, certain areas just tighten up and I have to spend ages stretching and rolling them out.I have used electric blankets and heat pads but they just don’t reach the same heat and penetrate your muscles in the same way

This pad is amazing. I have had a couple of Therasage jade heating pads for over 6 years, and they were starting to wear out, so I decided to replace the medium size with this UTK pad with tourmaline. This pad is larger than the medium Therasage, and has the added benefit of the tourmaline stones. This pad heats quickly, the heat is evenly distributed throughout, and it seems to be gentler in the source of heat but also seems to penetrate more deeply/thoroughly than the Therasage pad does. I really like the control dial, and that I can choose the exact temperature and amount of time; it is very easy to use, even in the dark in the middle of the night. My husband uses this for chronic neck and back pain at higher temperature settings, and experiences temporary reduction in symptoms. I am using this pad to boost my immune function with long sessions of 4-6 hours overnight at a lower heat setting. After just about 3 weeks (usage 4-6 nights a week), I am already seeing positive results. My asthmatic kitty is also doing treatments (by choice, she is drawn to the pad anytime we turn it on, and she will take any opportunity to steal a spot on it if we get up for a bathroom or water break). In the three weeks since we received the pad, I have noted an improvement in the kitty's asthma attacks; additionally her weight has reduced and she seems healthier than in the entire past year. Overall, this is a wonderful pad for the price, and I feel comparable or even superior to the Therasage pad of the similar size.

This thing has helped sooo much, unlike conventional heating pads. The heat retention and relief is unmatched. The weight of the pad also contributes to delivering pain relief deeper in my opinion when placed on top of the body. I have also laid on it many nights in my bed and it’s not too uncomfortable to lay on. Just wish it wasn’t so expensive.
