How very cool of a toy to get for your kid.

Very Durable
bought this for my son and he's hit it against every hard object you can imagine! I'm talking trees, walls, furniture, my shin! hasn't broken yet!! only takes two AAA batteries and they haven't run out yet even with the button being pushed 100-2,000 times every 24 hours! would highly recommend if you have a little jedi on your hands!

This item was just as it was described. I bought it for my father who is a big Star Wars fan. I could have went to target and gotten the same one, but given the time frame I needed it it was actually easier to order online.

Doesn't stay open
Only the bottom lights up and it doesn't stay open.

Very different than light sabers
This is my sons 2nd dark saber, we love the first one I purchased at Walmart much better…this version extends like the normal toy light up light sabers where the other one doesn’t but this version is very flimsy & doesn’t hold up well in light saber duels.
