Upgraded from the factory plastic to this plug. Needed new plug so I went all in on this and could not be happier. Love the twist and lock feature for the lid for a watertight seal. Also will accept twist and lock or conventional screw style power cord locking rings. Because of my boats curved hull I had to use black 4200 for a gasket instead of the rigid neoprene one that was included. A little masking tape for a clean wipe line and all came out looking good.

Fit the old slot perfectly. Wife was cutting grass and got too close to the camper. The old housing broke and was no longer weather tight. Went to the camper store near me and they wanted 3 x the price with a 6 week wait. Decided to order myself through here got it in a day.

Finally! A mouse hole conversion that’s round (most are square). Unfortunately this was still too small for the opening in my camper. After much pondering, I came up with this solution. I bought a 6” stainless steel plumbing clean out cover. Next we bought a metal hole saw and after putting on the eye protection, began to drill it out. The screw hole in the center of the clean our cover was a perfect guide (and I wanted stainless so it’ll be stronger than a plastic ceiling fan box cover). After filing the burrs, I finally have a trim I can use that is slightly larger than the trim on my current mouse hole. The plan is to put butyl tape behind the stainless, caulk around the very exterior trim, and then the gasket and caulk where the housing sits in the stainless trim. Hopefully with the combination of some good Lexel caulk and the screws, it’ll hold… finally sealing up the point of entry for critters.

I had a power surge take out the original power input for my camper. Luckily the only thing damaged was the power inlet itself. This is a great replacement and was easy to install. Unfortunately the strain relief was larger than my original, so I had to add a backing plate. It was not a big enough issue to take off a star, but did require a little more work than expected.

I had to take the plug apart to be able to get the wires in.

Used this to provide power to a storage shed I built. Great way to have 120V power without having to pull permits and dig and install conduit. The best thing is that if you need to cut the power simply unplug the extension cord connected to it. :)

This was perfect to replace the old inlet on my vintage travel trailer. It fit the old opening and was the closest match to the polished aluminum.
