Dependability
I had a machine just like this and jammed the master disc port with my studio chair while it was open and couldn't for the life of me put it back on track. So I ordered this one which is the exact copy of the one I had with a slightly updated label and the need to press enter to start duplicating. I was going to throw the other one in the trash but figured I had nothing to lose by taking it all apart to see what I had messed up on it. After about three hours of experimenting with all possible facets to put the master back on track, I was able to pop it in and lo and behold...IT WORKS!!! Now I have TWO great machines and double my duplicating capacity. Kudos

EXCEEDED MY HOPES!
So far I have found nothing to dislike. It runs quieter than the Lacie I wore out. The little window is very easy to read. It is VERY user friendly to this 76-year-old Great Grandma! I highly recommend it. Tina

This is the best of the 5 previous duplicators that I have purchased
This is the best of the 5 previous duplicators that I have purchased. It is so easy and you simply push a button, put in your dics and the machine does the rest. It is fool proof and amazingly repeatable. This the one machine everyone should get even though it is more expensive. It is very worth it.

Not consistent. Too many errors.
Most DVDs are good but one out of every six gets stuck. I cannot afford to have any errors as the DVDs are viewed by large audiences and can have no errorts.

Haven't gotten around to doing DVD's yet, but burning CD's is very easy + quick

If you want to do high speed recording
I am very familiar with the EZ Dupe Duplicators..I have had great success with any of their duplicators. Comes with a three year warranty which I will add are made in the USA ..with warranty that covers the USA..so buy with confidence..and Amazon had the best pricing too!!

The unit does the job well and fast.
All in all, this an excellent product. It's easy to use and fast and it works right out of the box. Plug it in, flip the on/off switch and start duplicating. I produce my own CDs and I need a reliable duplicator. Originally I had a single duplicator, one at a time. Now I do 5 in less time than it took to do one. I have tried it with DVDs as yet and probably won't for some time. If you need a good reliable duplicator, you can't go wrong with EZ DUPE. There are models that can duplicate anywhere from 1 to at least 10 at a time. I chose 5 because it was the best value for my needs.The only complaint I have is that it's a heavy unit. Getting up the stairs was a challenge. Not much can be done about this I guess, we just have to live with it.
