Beautiful calipers!
I am extremely happy with these! I was happy to see they were properly zeroed and worked smoothly! I brought them into work and everyone there was jealous. They are very accurate, my boss smashed them shut which I yelled at him for and I was worried them wouldn't come back to zero but after a few minutes of opening and shutting them gently it worked it's way back to where it needed to be. Money well spent.

I have 3 others just like itAlso have a Starrett . It wont hold a zero reading! very annoing to constantl reset.

Pretty accurate
This works pretty good for reloading rifle and pistol ammo, but I wouldn’t use it for engineering or precise work. The zero doesn’t quite read zero, so I don’t trust the precision, but it’s close enough for my uses.

A high quality tool, money well spent, better than digital...
When my digital calipers wouldn't turn on, I changed the "old" battery with a brand new one. When it still wouldn't turn on, I swore off electronic tools. This caliper is easy to use and can't short out. I did read one negative review that complained the caliper was about 1/1000th of an inch off. For that person, simply loosen the bottom thumb screw and rotate the bezel to zero it, then gently tighten it to lock it in place
