Bidding to connect four
This is a light and fun game with a good amount of strategy without being complicated. The gist is that you have to get four places in a row by purchasing property (bid against others) via the cards turned per round. You get more money if you have more property (but this is capped eventually), but if you don't budget you can end up with no money when it comes time to buy that crucial spot. I think that element is intensified in a two player game as there are only so many cards that give you money back (so you might be waiting awhile!). That being said I really enjoyed it as a two player and can't wait to try it with more friends.I liked the space/sci-fi element so good gift if you're also into that. I didn't think much about the game being advertised as plastic-free, but the insert is really nice!!! So if you're into board games you know that happy feeling when you get an insert which makes your life easier, lol. We didn't use the gavel but probably fun if more players, and it's satisfying to hold. All in all, happy with the purchase and would play again

Brilliantly designed short and fun game
Great party game, you could play a bunch of rounds and not get bored. Each game is different and it encourages a lot of "collusion" to stop the person who is close to winning, at least that was probably our most said word while playing. It's simple and funAll in all would recommend

Fun but Overpriced Given Final Production Quality (but Plastic Free, which is Great!)
MONOPOLY MEETS CONNECT FOUR!The game is quite fun to play but can become repetitive. The illustrations are cheerful and have a retro, 1960s vibe reminiscent of The Jetsons. Some of the real estate titles are cheesy but it works - I actually like this part best, together with the illustrations. The rule book is concise and instructions are clear. This game is very easy to learn and it is just as easy to explain the rules to others. Younger players should have no problem playing and enjoying this game too. Zillionaires reminds me a bit of the early rounds in Monopoly - just a bit more silly, interactive and animated (I like it much better than Monopoly!).The poor quality of the game box and components is a real let down though. I had to purchase this game 4 times before I received a game with a game box that was in a decent enough condition to keep. The box itself is not protected by shrink wrap; instead 2 small stickers seal the box. Better for the environment, not so good in terms of protecting the game, especially if thin printed paper is stretched across the box. I own another Big Potato game, "P for Pizza", which is also plastic free and suffers from similar production quality issues. Each of the games I received had 2 broken seals, torn corners and edges, dents, scuffs and cuts on the box. The paper is also bubbled. The lid does not appear to be made out of a single piece, so that the paper stretches across a little gap between the side and the top of the lid - the paper was torn across this gap on 3 occasions. The quality of the components is better but it is not great. The game board is not flat (has a slight dome shape): maybe this was by design but is does not work well in practice. The money is made of really thin paper and will tear and crease - individual notes were already creased in the box. The property cards are thin - like cheap playing cards but with a good set of card sleeves will last. The sold chips, however, are made of thick cardboard and are of good quality. The space gavel and for sale sign stand are made of wood and feel durable. The box insert is made of moulded pulp. It stores the components beautifully and can double as a game tray for the bank notes, which works well. I also like that the box is relatively small (approx. 26x24x5cm) and does not take up too much space on the game shelf. All in all, I do very much appreciate that Big Potato Games have gone plastic free. My only concern is that they should have found a way to do so without compromising on protection for the game box.Final thoughts: The production quality of this game places it in the £15 to £20 bracket: it feels overpriced at £25. If you can find a copy below £20 and do not mind a blemished game box, I recommend you give this game a chance.

Fun, intense and perfect for parties
Connect 4 meets Monopoly meets Bingo with auction-style play.Love the inclusion of the silver gavel and the for sale signs. Fun, intense and all about hiding how much you’ve got, a bit of bluffing and a lot of collusion.Great party game as it’s not too long and can easily play lots of rounds.

Simple to Play, Tons of Fun and Competitive
I chose to order this game for the family to play during the festive season initially and it was an instant hit for a number of reasons;• Easy to Learn• Quick to play• Competitive• Great for any number of players from 2 up• Fun and lots of laughterIt has easy to follow instructions and is a cross between Monopoly and Connect Four but with a twist. My family all loved it and with short easy to play games it is great for get together and doesn’t take hours like monopoly often does.My only criticism is that the pieces are not as good quality as I would’ve liked and therefore it feels a bit cheap, this is a real shame as the game itself is good fun and I hope that improvements are made to bring it up to a decent standard thereby making it a game that will last for years rather than needing to be replaced every few years, this is the only reason I have deducted a star.Overall this is a fun filled, entertaining game that is suitable for the whole family and I have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone looking for a new game to play.
