These look so much nicer on a table setting versus the cheap yellow corn holders BUT… the holder is small and your fingers struggle grasping and spin around. It’s hard to get a strong hold while munching down on the cob. My a husband complains every time & I’m sure I’ll have to eventually, end up buying different ones.

These appear sturdy. They are slightly smaller overall than the Crate and Barrel ones that I already own, which cost $0.95 each. (So, these are a better value.) The circumferemce of the coil is a bit narrower and the pick is shorter than the Crate and Barrel ones. I think they'll get the job done just fine though and I'll update the review if not.

My husband ordered these and they were a disaster. They're way smaller than they look and the spring moves too much when you're trying to use them. The spring also makes it very difficult to get it into the corn cob. They are very sturdy but that's only because they're made of steel. I can't even return them because the time window closed so I guess they're getting donated to Goodwill to torture somebody else when they try to eat corn. I'd rather have my $12.88 back though.

I was looking for something other than the yellow plastic holders that always break after one season. These look cool and are what I was expecting - but the spring like design is not ideal for corn holders

The corn picks are nice and elegant-looking, but it was difficult for me to insert it into the corn. The spring kept moving back and forth. Maybe after some practice, I’ll get better at it.

Bought these for the look - big mistake. First of all, the "spring" looking portion actually moves so, if you want to get a good grip on it, you would have to hold onto that tiny loop at the end and trying to push these in while holding those tiny ends is a feat in and of itself. They simply dont work.

these work very well. since they are stainless steel they will not breakdoiwn when run thru dishwasher as the plastic ones do.

Do not buy. Two major issues with the design of these corn holders. 1) The springs are not attached to the spikes. So the springs simply spin and spin around the spikes without moving the corn. 2) The springs simply compress when you try to insert the spikes into corn. So there is no leverage. Makes it almost impossible to insert them into the corn.
