HIC Harold Import Co. Snap Ball Tea Infuser, 18/8 Stainless Steel and Silicone, Pink, For Loose Leaf Tea and Mulling Spices

This infuser is epic! I really wanted a silicone infuser because in the past, my stainless steel ones would get riddled with rust no matter how careful I tried to be with it. The problem with silicone infusers though, is that it's really common for the tea-holding section just to be too small, or too difficult to get tea into.This thing is absolutely huge, and easy to put tea in. The holes are on the smaller side, but that's not necessarily a bad thing, as loose tea won't get out. And it doesn't adversely affect it's brewing ability. The spring action is robust enough to keep the diffuser closed, but (for me) easy to open.I've attached a picture of the infuser with my hand and my coffee cup to give a perspective of the size.It says it's dishwasher safe too, but based on the design, I wouldn't try it unless I needed to clean the exterior, and just do handwashing. It wouldn't be able to clean the interior of the tea holding bit.

This is so much better than any of my other tea infusers! The two halves stay closed well and the holes in the sides are small enough that no loose tea leaks out. The infuser is much easier to clean than a metal one. The silicone doesn't heat up so I can clean out out without burning my fingers. The only way this could be better is it it came in purple.

Easy to store in drawers unlike metal tea infusers

Very firm grip and doesn't lose leaves into my tea, very easy to clean. The flexibility makes it easy to get crud out of the straining holes

Love the color and it very easy to open & hold while filling with tea leaves.

Smaller leaved tea sneaks out, but it's still great to use and clean up is a breeze!!!

Came discoloured ( black mark)Closes slightly crooked.... Hope it still works... It's being given as a gift.
