Drugs and Society 13th Edition

This was used as a textbook for a substance abuse class that I took, but it was a great book! At times it could feel like just a lot of statistics being thrown at you, and I had an older version so they seemed out of date, but it’s obviously not the books fault lol. It highlighted what drugs do to people - both positive and negative. It didn’t feel derogatory. It shed light on just how powerful addiction is, and how recovery isn’t a straight road. A great read, for a textbook.

I now have a better understanding of addictions & how it relates to behavior & cravings for substance.

I bought this for my substance abuse class for summer term. It came quickly but damaged so I had to send it back. Straight forward and fast response so I'm happy with it now.

it was ok i have it kindle edition. i prefer hard copies of books but it was ok to use as it was cheaper.
