If you want a REAL Evaluation of this pressure washer...READ THIS!!!
This unit is certainly not a big time name brand high end pressure washer, but the specs are what got my attention. My last pressure washer was an Excell with a Honda engine and rated at just 2200 PSI and 2.5 GPM, so I was happy to upgrade the performance of my new pressure washer. My last pressure washer was an Excell and it lasted over 15 years old and I used the heck out of it and it always started on the second pull everytime, even after is sat for 6 months or more, all the way up until the day it died. What finally went on my old unit was not that wonderful and reliable Honda engine, but instead the Devilbiss pump. I put my old Excell pressure washer through some serious abuse, and it never failed me. If this new Excell pressure washer lasts half as long as my old one, I will be happy. The reason for 4 stars is three things that bother me. First, the hose is absolute garbage. It is as cheap as you can make it and only 25 feet long, whereas most other pressure washers come with a proper 50 foot hose. I suppose it will work, but Luckily, I was able to use my old hose and only had to change the inlet fitting to attach it. Expect to buy a longer hose for any serious pressure washing. Second, the wand is pretty damned short and your back will be sore as hell from the stooping and bending over you will have to do if you are over 5 and a half feet. This wand is almost a 8 inches shorter than my old wand, which was a little short for me as it was. Expect to buy an extension if you are going to do any tasks that will last longer than 20 minutes. Again, I swapped out the wand tube and all is good.Lastly, and this one bugs me the most, the damned muffler placement. The muffler, which gets to about 1,000 degrees, is right next to the place on the pump where you attach the hoses. I burned the hell out of my wrist and instantly learned that valuable lesson. Who the heck designs a pressure washer with the super mega lava hot muffler mere inches away from where you attach and detach the hoses? Seriously? I am sure I am NOT the only one who has burned himself. One benefit I see on this unit that my other pressure washer did not have and many new ones today still do not, is the flexible motor mounts. My last unit was bolted directly to the cart and when being used, "walked" all over the place from the vibration. I had to set it in the grass in order to keep it from vibrating all over the place. However, this unit here stays put as the flexible engine mounts absorb the vibration. Another plus I looked for in a pressure washer was a brass pump. This is a must on any pressure washer if you want it to last more than just a few years. Any non-brass pump will rust out in no time, and for me, this was a necessary requirement if I was to buy it.Anyway, overall, pretty decent unit. You cannot beat the price (I paid $255 on Amazon with free shipping), and it does the job. The dollar value is the greatest plus in my opinion. If you want your own pressure washer and don't want to spend several hundred dollars or more, than this is for you. The price I paid is darn near half many other pressure washers with the same specs. To get a pressure washer with 3,100 psi and 2.8 gpm with a brass pump for under $300 is a great deal. Other pressure washers with comparable specs are quite a bit more money than this one and some almost double the price I paid for this unit. This pressure washer is great for around the house and it does what it is supposed to do. And even though it may not be a top name brand, Excell is not horrible either, and as long as you maintain it properly and take care of it, it will last a very long time.Overall, well built, compact, decent quality, and has the features I was looking for in a pressure washer. This pressure washer is perfect for the guy who wants one for around the house clean up of side walks, driveways, porches and patios, etc., is of better than average quality, a terrific price (as long as it stays around the $255 I paid for it), and performance (3,100 PSI and 2.8 GPM). The best way to rate the performance of a pressure washer is to take the PSI and the GPM and multiply them. Therefore, if you take 3,100 time 2.8, it equals 8,680 cleaning units. Most people focus on the PSI, but from my research, the amount of water you move in a minute is more important. Looking at the "Cleaning Units" is a great way to compare the performance of one unit over another. For the money, the overall score on this unit is impressive. I have used this a few times already, and it works great.I bought the Dewalt 18" surface cleaner as well, and together, I am cleaning my concrete surfaces in a third of the time over just the wand itself. The Dewalt surface cleaner required a higher performing pressure washer and would not work well with a smaller unit, and this pressure washer is able to handle it with no problems. I would buy this again in a heartbeat and recommend it to anyone looking for a consumer level pressure washer.

Problems on third use
After reading some positive reviews on a brand I did not know, I took a chance on this pressure washer. During the first two uses, I was pleased with the performance. It had good power and cranked easily. However, on the third use it started cutting off every time the trigger is not pressed. First off this is annoying when trying to operate it, but really what is frustrating is how little I have used the washer, and it is already having significant issues. Seriously regretting this purchase...

Quality control could use some improvement!
Very powerful well made pressure washer. Easy to start, easy to assemble, and easy to use. My only complaint is the oil breather was not screwed on tightly and this allowed some of the pump oil to leak out during shipping. I contacted the manufacturer and asked them how much oil the pump is supposed to have. They told me 2.2 oz. After getting this information I emptied the remaining pump oil into a container and it had a little less than 1 oz left. I did this because I was worried the pump might not have any oil left. So if you happen to order this item and there is oil on your pressure washer and it is not the included engine oil I would give this a check. As far as I can tell there is not a drain plug for the pump. You will have to remove the oil breather then remove the pump and pour out the oil, or flip the entire pressure washer over to pour out the oil.

You get what you pay for. Absolute Junk
Feel as if the bet didn’t pay off. I realized the washer was cheap. However, it got pretty decent reviews. So I made the decision to roll the dice. I live on a farm it’s gets used weekly for an hour. Not like it’s commercial use by any means. The device is less than year old and it’s been in the shop 3 times so far. First it was a fuel leak right out of the box, then the last two times it’s been because the pump quit working. The first time it “got stuck” so I was told. This time, I’m still waiting to hear. Just be aware that’s all. I should have spent the money and bought something else. My last pressure washer lasted 6 years.

This pressure washer is so much better than I would have expected, I love it!
When I received the unit and started the minor assembly I noticed how robust the frame and cage where verses my previous pressure washers that I had purchased from Costco. Basically I was paying for the Honda name and nothing else, this engine started on the first pull out of the box! The Excell seems to have a good engine with plenty of power. The pump has a brass head which is a plus. I can definitely tell the 3100 PSI rating and the 2.8 gallons per minute aren't an exaggeration. My first job was completed in half the time it would have taken my previous pressure washer. This is a must have unit at a great price!

It seems like the pressure release valve failed
SAFETY HAZARD, DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT.This pressure washer has given me minor issues over the past year of ownership but nothing that was enough to warrant me replacing it. Well that all changed today. While washing my car I noticed that the engine would bog more than usual when I released the trigger, again I figured another quirk with the washer. Well when I cranked up the throttle to do my final rinse and let off the trigger the engine bogged to the point of stall, at which point the coupler between the house and spray gun blew off injuring my palm and arm. It seems like the pressure release valve failed, over pressurizing the connector and literally stripping the threads off of the brass fitting, At which point the water pressure had no problems cutting into my skin and bruising the areas around it.

Love this product
Excellent quality. Starts on the first pull every time. It has unbelievable power. It is very compact in size and easy tohandle. Update 5/19. Purchased 2 years ago and still love this pressure washer. I have used it a lot for such things as my cement tile roof, my paver driveway and walks, my paver pool deck and my white vinyl fence.
