Heavy, very nice tools and box!

This was sent as a gift. The recipient said the tools were very nice and seemed to of great quality. The wooden box seemed extremely well made as were all of the tools. So far they have worked very well.

Seems nice so far, really like the root rake, other options have better assortment, but terrible root rakes.

Package came in right on time but it was missing the wires. I wrote the company to get this rectified the day it came in and Have received no response. Also the large handle scissors were not straight and it cut the edge off of one side when I closed them. It’s an ok set for first time bonsai I guess.

Tools come in a lovely high quality wood box.

This set of Bonsai tools is complete with every tool needed to create and tend to the trees. It is nicely packed in an attractive wood container where the tools are ready to be used. I recommend this set of tools.

In July of 2023 I purchased a "Bonsai Tools Set with Wood Box". I was very excited about this purchase as I had just begun my experience with Bonsai.When I received the product I immediately opened the box and found that the tools were very stiff and hard to open and close. As I tried each tool I also realized that they were not very sharp. I first tried to use the pruning shears and the standard shears. When I tried to cut a branch that was large, but not too large for the standard shear, they bent under the strain and they are not very sharp. The blades on the concave cutter are also not sharp and the blades don't even close tightly and completely.Except for the root hook and root rake, I have basically given up on using these tools, and have bought other tools that are better and easier to use. Every once in a while I think that I will try to use the concave cutter again, but I am always disappointed and end up using one of my other cutters.I know that it has been a long time since I made the purchase, but I wanted to write this so that you know that while the box is nice and the product has a nice hand-made appearance, they are not well made. It would have been better to buy more expensive stronger and sharper stainless steel tools from a different seller.
