Live Oak Seeds for Planting - 5 Large, Fresh Seeds - Quercus virginiana

I have planted one. Waiting for it to come up.

The directions said to look proper care up online. So, I did. The directions said to first let them soak in water, and if after so long they float, they are no good. That they've been infected with a fungus or there's another problem. All 5 of these that I received floated. I still tried, and none have germinated.

They say if seed floats it is most likely no good. These float😐. I will put in refrigerator till ready to plant, but though they look like healthy seeds they did not pass the float test. I will let you know if they grow. Not one seed sprouted so All seeds were not viable😡😡😡

I followed the video for the pin oak, live oak, and oak seeds by putting them in peat moss, and soil and placed them in the fridge for almost two months. And twitch 15 days left, nothing. Sad really as I demonstrated how to have the seeds sprout by the neighbors children. They will be disappointed when the seeds do not sprout.

I’ve been growing Oak Seeds for a long time now and I believe I’m pretty good at it. Not one of the seeds sprouted.
