Arrived, installed, working as expected. Easy install, Love the features, very reasonable price!.
3 Stars because all worked. After 3-6 mos or working I will up the stars to 5. If it breaks I will comment right away, but if i say nothing all still works!! here it goes, figures crossed!!Going on a year now and I cannot say anything but it was definitely worth the cost! We have it on the bedroom door and use the code constantly day in and out! 5 stars for lasting as long as it did as advertised! It does use batteries kinda fast but we use it a lot. Changed them probably four times, guess that isn't bad at all!! I believe it's four AAA. So yea, 16 AAA's in a year sounds reasonable.Would Improve---If there was something that I would improve would be the consistency in which the door unlocks....let me explain. With new batteries you will walk up to door, punch in code of 4 digits (lights come on with first push-no need to push first # again) turn doorknob left or right- lock disengages and Boom its open. Lights still stay on a little longer...why, no idea but if they did my batteries would last longer *hint *hint. Its only like two seconds. So this works seamlessly for a while before the batteries begin to fade and you will notice the first twist left or right does not work in which you will then turn left or right back again-lock disengages and boom it opens. Now as you use this product and the batteries begin to wear more you will notice that the reverse turn is needed more often and even a 3rd or fourth turn as the batteries continue to drain. **Honestly its a pain but i use what I can get out of the batteries (easy to replace by the way) until I really want to change them cause I am sick of it** You have about a 2-3 sec window (not sure) for the lock to disengage with each turn/try. If the lock does not open you go to try code again and the lights go off immediately and that is it start over??? Obviously enter code try/turn again..Not what I would have chosen for it to do, but its not my design. so I have had to go through with this routine 4-5 times before I got the screwdriver out and changed the batteries (takes 5 minutes). All this I and my wife have found to be doable, 4-5 attempts in reality is like 10 secs. Normal time to get through door would take 1-3 seconds at most, maybe that is when someone else would change it! Like I said I am cheap! Can't Go Wrong!!!---Also this product has held up to my teenage son (autistic) trying to get into my room several times, that is why there is a whole next to the doorknob through the door, LOL CAUSE HE COULDN"T OR HASN"T it is very smooth, never had any issues at all and we use this 3-20 times a day! With the price how do you go wrong. I have never had to worry about anyone going into my room-worth the price right there!!!Appearance---Still looks the same, color and shininess has not dulled at all. Everything lights up same brightness. Can't go wrong, wife says 5 stars too. There you have it, boss says so! Buy with confidence!

Great Value - Works Well - Easy instal - lasted 6.5 years.
I used this for 6 and a half years.I bought the non-Bluetooth version so that my housekeeper can access my home without having to be given a key.I replaced a deadbolt with this lock and haven't felt any less secure. As long as you install it properly and not put in in upside down or break the cables while doing so the lock works well.It responds in a consistent manner to the codes that you program and the handle turns both directions clock wise and counter-clockwise.There is a small delay though that takes getting used-to.Now when I get rid of this house-keeper (Considering a trade-in for a newer model perhaps)I don't have to change my locks. I'll just cancel her key code and set a new one for the next.I can go jogging without having to take along a house key.I even set an emergency code in case I gotta have my neighbor go into the house while I am away.Overall, I am quite pleased with it.I only regret not getting the Bluetooth version. I was not aware of it until after mine arrived.Warning! It is effected by prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and heat. My door faces the sun for hours certain times of the year. The lock at times siezes up when it gets too hot. After almost 7 years the battery connections rusted, wires broke, battery case cracked and I'm unable to resolder or get it working again.I can't complain about it. I got some decent service from this lock.

Warning: Safety Risk
Dissapointing. Easy to install. Worked well for 7 days! Then started to habe to inout the code multiple times for it to work. Then replaced batteries. Then it would take several attempts with the code and hours in between attempts until by day 9 it stopped working. It lit up but wouldn't open so we got locked out of bedroom for 8 hours and because it was 2nd floor couldn't climb through window and because hinges and screws for knob are in the inside of door we had to break the door to get in. We just started the Return/refund process. I strongly suggest you do NOT use this product if you have elderly/little kids or pets that may be in a room where you close the door because this could end with a call to the fire Department or having to break the door down. I now have to take the time to box and drop this item off, wait for refund a d order a different product and pay to replace a door. I have NEVER left a negative review before. This however needed to be said so that it doesn't happen to someone else.

fairly cheap, easy to install, works exactly as described
great and quick solution if you need a digital door lock handle. i've had mine for about a month now and no issues. i've used schlage and kwikset digital deadbolts but i wanted a digital lock for bed rooms. this fit the bill. i can't tell you how long the battery would last but they give you a back up battery case you can plug into the unit to power on.a couple of things this unit can improve on. the door handle is a perfectly round and smooth. it makes it hard to open if you were elderly, had arthritis, oily hands, or lotioned hands. they need to make a more ergonomically door knob. maybe oval shape with some grooves for grip. lastly even when changing the master key code from the default it must start with a zero. its not a huge deal but some people might no like that you have to start with a zero. so lets say if you want your new master key code to be 1984. you would have to set it as 01984 because it requires the master key code to start with a zero.overall very happy with the purchase. there's a lot of different brands of this type of lock. i just looked at the reviews and tried this one. glad i did. luckily i didn't have any issues installing, setting up key codes, etc. works fine for me!
