Good fit and does what it’s designed to do
Good fitment and seems to be a sturdy unit. This solved my issue of the door not unlocking. I’d recommend trying this over a new BMW unit or used.

Did not work for me
I replaced my old one with this one and within less than 1 hour the plastic on this has melted and was smoking while driving. Replaced with an authentic bmw one and is fine now.

Would not recommend - BMW E90
If i had a choice, i would have sent it back, the item doesnt work with central locking, once connected, i cant unlock/lock with the key, so it only works manually at the moment as my previous bmw one had failed with the door closed and had to be broken to remove it. The screw holes are not threaded correctly so it cant be fitted correctly, along with various other fitment and use issues. All other options on Amazon appear to be of the same design
