Tough stuff yet easy to cut, holds up well
This is exactly what it claims to be. I was able to cut a shape for the sole of my shoes. I forgot to take a 'before' photo, but believe me the sole was worn through in many areas. These shoes are probably 15 years old, but I love them so I had to give them a new lease on life.I first took a piece of paper and made a pattern of the bottom, placed that on the material and easily cut the shape with regular scissors. I then used Gorilla Glue to attach the new sole. I let that dry overnight, just to be sure it stuck. Afterwards I touched up a couple areas on the sides where I hadn't gotten enough glue, using some pinchers to hold those areas tight.I have walked a few miles in the resoled shoes already, and have not detected much stiffness in the sole, maybe a little, but nothing noticeable while walking. Also, none of the glue has come undone. I am quite happy with the results, and my shoes are happy too!

Extended lifespan of my boots
My sheepskin boots were worn on the sole at the toe and heel. I used this to repair them. Cut to shape, glued them on and used them on a snowy day with no problem.

Easy to cut, seems durable without bulk
I used this material to glue up the forefoot of two pairs of leather dress shoes. It was easy to cut and seems durable. Grip is definitely aggressive to combat slippage. The only gripe is that it’s doubtful that it’s actually 2.2mm thick. Time will tell how it holds up. I’ll come back to update over time.

Enough for two shoes
This is enough for two shoes, no more. Make sure to measure twice before cutting. I adhered it to my leather soled shoes using Barge cement. It has come loose a little and needed re-gluing on the front edge a couple times, but I'm thinking that is because of the glue, not this material. I'd buy it again.

Very good piece of rubber
Great material for my do it yourself shoe repair. Just glued it using shoe goo glue which is the same glue that the shoemaker uses. He wanted $200 to repair my shoes. $20 to do it myself. Definitely worth a try to fix them myself

Perfect solution to slippery shoes
I have a pair of slip on wedgie sandals w a hard plastic bottom….slippery and noisy to say the least. After the shoemaker said he could not put anything on the bottom to fix the problems, I found this rubber sheet and Shoe Glue which works great. I made a template of shoe areas to be covered to cut exactly what shape I needed…you can cut small pad shapes or cover larger areas depending on shape of shoe. Then tape template to rubber sheet and cut pieces, then flip template over to cut the other shoe shape. (Mirror images). The Shoe glue is awesome, cleaned and scuffed bottom of shoes then apply glue generously w wooden stick or knife, then pressed the rubber form in place. It oozes out a little so don’t overglue the area because it is tough to scrape excess off. Used removable tape to hold in place and left overnight to dry, really important for the glue to set properly…Now I walk quietly and safely on all surfaces with this nonskid rubber product. Good for any size shoes and customizable for many uses. Highly recommend.

Super great for reselling shoes or anything you want to make less slippery on the bottom.
I bought this to resole some heels it was super easy to cut it is not slippery on the bottom so it serves its purpose. I glued mine on with crazy glue and shoe glue and that worked fine. No black marks on the floor when you walk.

IT MADE MY SHOES MORE SLIPPERY??
The media could not be loaded. this is actually crazy. this video is taken on a floor i’ve never slipped on before. now, with these soles, i literally slide all over. i cannot stop. i was genuinely trying not to fall over. it’s a hazard. now i’m going to have to get new shoes bc they’re ruined.the application was a pain, by the way. i used the recommended shoe glue and the soles would barely stick without rolling up. i had to tie string around the shoe while it dried.it doesn’t look good, and you can’t really remove it once it’s on. it ruins your shoes.and why wouldn’t you make shoe sizes in the first place, i threw away so much wasted material.this is dumb and not worth the moneyit doesn’t do the one thing it is meant to do, but the Exact Opposite . what a joke
