This bass is perfect for any beginner ,I already mastered the bass in one month ,and it sounds good when plugged to a PA system. There’s not much difference to a $1000 or $5000 bass when it comes to sound quality.I play in a band and it is good enough for the parties that we play in.

The bass plays well and sounds great.

I have two of these. One had a bad selector switch, easily replaced.

This was the absolute perfect gift for my daughter who wanted to learn how to play. It had all the essentials for a beginner.

I was so disappointed when I have gotten the guitar first off it arrived a few days late and today I got a good look at it. I found scratches that are visible. The cable to plug in the amp to the guitar has a short in it. Plugged it in today and it was a mess. The picks are cheap as well. strap as well. The price isn't fitting for what you get. I have seen cheaper prices with better quality, but I love the color of this particular one. So my debate do I return this one and get a better one or stay with this one. Sad that my first review is a not-so-nice one, but let me know what you'll think.

Plays and sounds good

Wow. I rarely review anything but this needed to be said. This is NOT a beginners guitar. This may be a beginner luthier guitar but not for a beginner guitarist. The neck pocket needs shimming, the frets are actually sharp enough to shred my hand and need dressing, the fret board needs conditioning, the nut needs to be replaced, the tuners are binding and the string height and intonation need to be addressed which is not worth the time without the shims. That is about it from 30 minutes or less with the guitar.The good news is that the components seem to work. The volume and tone knobs do control volume and tone. The selector switch selects the pickups. The pickups all seem to work so there are positives. As for the amp and everything else in the box? No idea, after the condition of the guitar, I didn't even check. I just plugged it into my own amp for testing.If anyone would like a picture of how shredded my thumb is after running it up and down the neck, let me know and I will add one.Final thoughts... If you want to invest time in getting experience in making a guitar playable, this is an inexpensive enough option for that. Buy something else for a beginning guitar player. I have no interest in promoting other brands. Take your pick. Just buy something else.
