Yikes
Went through two of these in a year. I do realize I purchased the plushest mattress, but it quickly lost its support that it had within a month or two. I initially emailed Chuck because I was having trouble with my mattress. After we had confirmed that my mattress suffered from QC issues he sent me a new mattress, but this time I got the cushion firm mattress in hopes that it would retain its support longer. The kicker here, though, was that Chuck asked me to remove my initial negative review as an agreement, which was weird. However, of course, history repeats itself, and my mattress quickly lost its support in just a few months.Unfortunately, it doesn't end there. I came back here to update my review to let people know that there are indeed some serious QC issues but instead, Chuck had my review deleted and then revoked my ability to leave reviews for this product. Thankfully I noticed and sent Chuck a lovely little email informing him that I knew what he was up to.Seriously, people, save your time and money and search for other options.

Disappointed
Like many of the other 1 and 2 start reviewers, I have found that this mattress doesn't hold up. We've been sleeping on it for about a year and it's gotten to the point of being very uncomfortable. We had been sleeping on an older, spring mattress and I was eager to get rid of it. Initially, this mattress (which we got in firm cushion) was amazing. Firm and supportive and very comfortable. After a few months of use, however, I started waking up stiff and with significant low back discomfort. Then I felt like like I was always sliding off the mattress because the edges of the bed were significantly more compressed than the center. When I am alone and roll onto the center of the bed (where neither me nor my husband sleeps) I remember how good the bed used to feel. And when I recently slept in our guest room, which has our old mattress on it, and had a really good and comfortable sleep, I realized just how bad this bed has gotten.I regret the purchase. It's probably not a bad choice for a little used guest bed but for an everyday bed for 2 adults, this is not the way to go.

Frustrating experience
I was under the impression I was purchasing a firm mattress.(I purchased the same one from this company 4 years ago & love it). However this time it was extremely soft to the point where the sides of the mattress would just squish down like a marshmallow & had very little staying power/form.A friendly warning (from our experience):You have to attempt to put it back in the original packaging to return it.Even with a mattress bag & purchasing a shop vacuum we could not get close to flattening or rolling this mattress.Over the course of two days we spent hours trying to find ways to downsize it to get it in the box. Finally we got it to bend halfways & pieced four boxes around it with 5 big pricey rolls of tape. Then waited from 7am until 6pm for UPS to pick it up.Needless to say, it was very unnerving & frustrating experience & a waste of time. We're so lucky we got our old mattress back on the bed.

I can comfortably sleep 5+ hours or more again
Purchased a 'cushion firm' mattress about 3 weeks ago to replace a 6 year-old Tempurpedic memory foam mattress that was essentially a torture device. In a nutshell: I slept very hot on the Tempurpedic and my body heat broke down the memory foam cells, causing a big dip to develop. This led to horrible lower back pain if I slept more than 5 or 6 hours on it. Not just me, either; my spouse started getting back pains in the past year or so.After much deliberation, research and inquiries, we pulled the trigger on this mattress. Immediately I noticed the difference: more spring, less sink. And the mattress was cooler to sleep on as well as better at retaining its shape. The big benefit was that I was finally able to get a solid night's sleep, with just a minimal amount of stiffness. (I do have some lower back issues, both from a minor injury years ago as well as inherited from my family.)Our set up:- Mattress only on a platform bed (no box spring)- Protect-a-Bed deluxe mattress cover (breathable); this is pricey but for us, worth it- Dreamfoam shredded gel pillow (for me only); the pillow can get a little warm and I was concerned how 'pancakey' it can get but it's really more comfortable for me than standard ones- Me: back and side sleeper; spouse: side sleeperMajor pros:- Cooler to sleep on- Firmer, with more spring- Minimal to no off-gassing odor- More comfortable sleeping more than 5 hours- Far better that Tempurpedic in terms of quality and valueSo far I'm very satisfied with the purchase and will update this review regularly.----------UPDATE: December 2014Well, the back problems are back and we're starting to notice lingering impressions/divots in the mattress over time, as if it's starting to break down like our old Tempurpedic did. I believe the "sinking" into the mattress problem has once again led to an achy back if I sleep on it for more than 5-6 hours. Ugh. With hindsight, I might have had better success with a 'firm' setting and with a thicker mattress.

Best Mattress in Years
Purchased from Amazon.ca. Great buy, No longer wake up with back pain and I wake up feeling rested and energized. The free shipping is fantastic as well. We'll see how it holds up after a year or so, then I'll do a follow-up.
