Hooke Road Offroad Steel Tubular Front Bumper w/Winch Plate & LED Lights for 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK & Unlimited 2/4 Doors

Good Afternoon, I’d just like to let you know why I rated this/these products 5 out of 5. I purchased the Opar Vader Grille, along with the Opar headlights with DRL/Amber Markers, LED turn signals and the Lotus Front bumper. I'm pleased to say that it is everything that was promised by the company. Easy installation, and everything snaps/bolts right into place. The quality and precision of these products are top notch. Installation of these parts was extremely easy and they fit right in. There is a video on youtube that breaks everything down into simple steps if you run into any issues. The Fog lights work and run perfect, I have no issues with visibility, and they look fantastic. However, I had an issue with my front bumper damaged in the shipping process. That said, I was pleasantly surprised by the speed and consideration of the Opar Automotive Accessories Customer Support. Not only did they respond within hours of my email with pictures confirming the shipping damage to the front bumper (curtesy of USPS), but they sent out a new part immediately. Using DHL instead of the USPS for the replacement part. It Arrived within two business days. They also offered me compensation for any inconvenience’s. I would rate this 5/5 based solely on how quick and effective their customer support was. Knowing this, and comparing it to my experience with Poison Spider and other companies that I have purchased products from, I would say Opar Automotive Accessories ranks at, or near the top. I plan to purchase more products from this company because of how amazing my experience was with them. I hope that this was helpful. Have a nice day.

I love almost everything about this bumper, it would have been an easy install except one bolt on the passenger side was a little janke... when I put the nut on it it started good and then seemed to cross thread, the “grade 8” stud or bolt snapped of causing me to have to cut, & drill a new mount for strength. The only other thing was that when my winch came 2 weeks later it was a bigger to install due to how the winch plate attaches. Would have been fine if the winch was here prior to installation of the bumper , just had to loosen a few bolts and sweat a couple times and it was all good. But all in all it’s a great bumper , love the Stubby style and tubes it’s plenty beefy for anything I will be doing

Opar Lotus Front Bumper - Like the other reviews the packaging was sub-par however there was no damage to the bumper when I unboxed. All parts and hardware were included but I still made a trip to the store to pick up additional longer bolts to bolt for the winch head block. The ones provided were too short. Also, check that the bolts will go into the top bumper mount. I had to re-tap the threads on one of the holes.Even though its pretty straightforward the lack of instructions made it take 3 times longer to install. the winch plate is the tricky part and the instructions that they will email you lack any winch plate definition.I mounted a 9500lb Smitty Built XRC winch. Very tight fit. I removed the vacuum pump and placed it out of the way in order to install the winch.1- Remove OEM bumper2- Mount winch to winch plate. Note that the winch sits inside the bumper, I had to relocate my winch control plug to the top in order to be able to access it once it's all together. I patched the old plug hole with an aluminum plate and silicon. You cannot put the winch control over the cable spool, it will prevent you from being able to re-install the front grill. It's a tight fit, I don't think a larger winch would work.3- insert the chromed bolt thru the frame for the rear winch plate attachment.4- slide the winch and winch plate hooks onto the chromed bolt.5- Re-install the vac pump (I sprayed mine with a black plastic dip paint to hide)6- Mount the bumper and tighten.Overall I love it. keeps the winch out of site and is also not too much heavier than the OEM bumper. This was a great find. I'd been looking for a strong, lightweight bumper with no stinger (don't like them) for a long time, and which wouldn't break the bank and this was it! The bumper frame itself is made of steel tubing, but is wrapped with medium thick aluminum plates. I saved close to 100 lbs vs my old bumper (ugh). Another bonus is that you have the option of two heights to mount the winch plate. I chose the lower position which almost completely hid the winch. Now I have the nice clean look I wanted with no impediments whatsoever to the air flow to the radiator and RIPP supercharger intercooler. I'll post pics up soon.

Slight damage. No instructions.

The instructions leave a lot to be desired. Good thing we know how to navigate installing bumpers. Recommend directions be reviewed & enhanced as well as maybe include a video link

Corner of bumper was dented from shipping. Easy to install. Had in for less than a week and it has been raining and there are all ready rust spots on it.

So I was hesitant in ordering a bumper from a company I have never heard of. I liked the look and the price so I rolled the dice. When the bumper arrived it was damaged during shipping. I emailed OPAR and they were quick to resolved the issue. Their customer service has been amazing! The bumper fill perfect with no issues. No install instructions are provided but it’s pretty self explanatory. I included a few pictures so you can see how it looks.
